A Kingdom Prepared for you
“Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’” (Matthew 25:34-36 WEB)
Just pause and think about this: God prepared the Kingdom for us—His children, from the foundation of the world.
He did not even make it for Himself. It was made beautiful, spacious, and glorious for us who have placed our faith in the name of Yahweh (before Jesus appeared)/Jesus (Yeshua).
“The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’” (Matthew 25:40 AMP)
The righteous are instructed to do good to fellow believers who are Jesus’ brothers and sisters.
These are the ways of doing good to fellow believers that Jesus mentioned:
1. Feeding the hungry
2. Giving a drink to the thirsty
3. Showing hospitality by providing lodging
4. Clothing those who have no means to obtain basic necessities
5. Visiting and praying for the sick
6. Visiting those who are in prison and taking the Gospel to them
Every believer is a member of the body of Christ, so if you do good to a believer, you are doing it to Christ Jesus.
“Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10 WEB)
We are taught to do good towards all men, but especially to fellow believers. When we do good as we have opportunity, we are doing it as unto the Lord.
“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
I understand how doing good can make you weary—when others are unappreciative or take advantage of you, despite you giving your best to do good. It can feel pointless at times because people can be so heartless.
However for you are doing good mainly as for the Lord Jesus, and not for men. The Lord will reward you, even if men’s intentions were impure.
We have a Kingdom prepared for us that is an unshakable inheritance. While we are here in this world, let us pray at all times, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and showcase God’s love by doing good, using the gifts and grace we have received. That is the best we can do while waiting for the Lord’s imminent return!

Diverse Gifts for the Body of Christ
“Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.” (1 Corinthians 7:7 WEB)
You are not just another person.
You have your own gift from God, and He has also given you a calling. He designed each of us individually and in a personal way.
“For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body. If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. If they were all one member, where would the body be? But now they are many members, but one body. The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”” (1 Corinthians 12:14-21 WEB)
The apostle Paul used members of the body to represent believers with different types of gifts.
The foot can represent evangelists who bring the Gospel to the nations.
The hand can represent miracle workers and people who minister in gifts of healings.
The eye and ears could represent prophets and pastors who frequently see visions and hear from God.
It is definitely not limited to these body parts—God’s gifts are very diverse.
Each person has a different function in the body of Christ, and all of us are important in our own way.
Through your gift, you can do things that I cannot, and I serve a different purpose that builds up the body of Christ.
Declare: “I have a gift from God and a calling on my life. The Holy Spirit who distributed these gifts to me will also show me how to operate in them. I have an important role in the body of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

The Ultimate Purpose of Life
“This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 WEB)
The person who wrote the Book of Ecclesiastes is the richest and wisest mortal man in history: King Solomon.
After sharing all his wisdom, his conclusion is this: our whole duty is to fear God (worship Him with reverential awe) and keep His commandments (to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and to love one another as Christ loved us).
“Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:1-3 WEB)
If you have been wondering, this is the purpose for which we were born: to know Abba God and Jesus Christ.
Not just in the mind, but to know God experientially, intuitively, and eventually face-to-face.
There will be a time of judgment in the future, but for a believer, there is no sentence of condemnation because our evil works have already been judged in Jesus’ body at the cross. He endured the fiery wrath of God on our behalf.
All that is left for us is to receive the rewards for both open and hidden good works done for Christ.
If you live your life keeping the Grace commandments—basically a life of leaning on God’s love and sharing that love with others, you will be greatly rewarded when it is time to stand before Jesus’ throne.
Wait, what? We get spared for all the evil deeds that we do and get rewarded for all the good works done by using the grace that God first gave to us? Yes, it sounds way too good to be true, but it is the truth.
Most believers have no idea what God’s rewards are. They know of blessings, but when it comes to rewards, it is hardly taught about. The common misconception is to mix up blessings and rewards—but these two are different.
Blessings were paid for by Jesus’ blood at the cross, and God has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Heaven. On the other hand, rewards are still with Jesus in Heaven. He said that His reward is with Him—we will only receive them after He comes again.
““Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.” (Revelation 22:12 WEB)
