>> Download bản PDF tại đây: https://m.me/286585161523028?ref=Describeanenvironmentalproblem
Describe an environmental problem that has occurred in your country.
You should say:
- What the cause of the problem is
- What effect it has had on your country
- What action has been taken to solve this
- Why you think it is important to solve this problem
I’m gonna talk about air pollution, which is one of the most severe environmental problems in my city.
This issue is caused by several reasons. Firstly, due to modernization, private vehicles become more affordable for people from all walks of life. This leads to the fact that there are more and more cars, trucks and motorbikes instead of bicycles commuting on roads. As a result, the amount of exhaust emissions stemming from these modes of transport increases, and therefore the atmosphere is contaminated. Secondly, more factories and power plants built also contribute to air pollution.
As regards actions taken to solve this problem, people should use environmentally-friendly transportations like bicycles or buses instead of their private vehicles like cars or motorbikes. Another action might be that it’s the government’s responsibility to plant more trees in the city and encourage their citizens to plant trees at home.
Of course, it’s vital for us to come up with other solutions to mitigate this issue as soon as we can because of its clear detriments. You know, breathing in such severely polluted air can be very harmful to our health. To be more specific, long-term exposure to air pollution might lead to several diseases associated with heart, lungs, cancers and other health problems. In addition to that, the severity of polluted air causes the high frequency of smog in the morning, which makes commuters difficult to see. As a result, there might be more traffic accidents occurring in my city. That’s why it’s important for us to control air pollution.

Describe an interesting old person.
You should say:
* Who the person is
* Where you met him/ her
* What characteristics of his you most like
* Why you think this person is interesting
CÂU TRẢ LỜI MẪU
The old person I admire most is my grandfather. To me, he is a hero, an ideal father, a benevolent person and a man of his honour.
My grandfather is in his 70s but he has a youthful appearance with a well-built body and fair skin. He is still as fit as a fiddle because he is strong enough to support some household chores when my parents go out for work and to cultivate a spacious garden.
We live in an extended family and he is still the head of our family. Though he can’t manage all aspects of our family, he is still the decision-maker because of his rich life experience and our respect for him. Besides, I could say that he was a successful father as all of his children, I mean my father, my aunt and uncle, have become professionals or businessmen thanks to the good educational environment my grandfather gave them at school and at home. Last but not least, people call him a benevolent person because he is always willing to give others in our locality a hand when they need it.
For the reason why I think he is an interesting old man, there are two main explanations. Firstly, he has a good sense of humour. His funny and amusing stories always turn him into the life and soul of the party. I love the moments of all members gathering in the living room on the weekend, listening to his historical memories and laughing. Secondly, he is a person of his word. This means he would not talk much but when he does it carries unparalleled weights. All in all, I always look up to him and want to have him beside me forever.
TỪ VỰNG
* hero /ˈhɪə.rəʊ/ (noun): anh hùng
* benevolent /bəˈnev.əl.ənt/ (adj): nhân từ
* in his 70s (prepositional phrase): trong những năm 70 tuổi
* well-built body (noun phrase): thân hình cường tráng
* as fit as a fiddle /ˈfɪd.əl/ (idiom): khỏe mạnh
* cultivate something /ˈkʌl.tɪ.veɪt/ (verb): trồng trọt
* extended family (noun phrase): gia đình lớn
* decision maker (compound noun): người quyết định
* give others a hand (idiom): giúp đỡ người khác
* a good sense of humour /ˈhjuː.mər/ (noun phrase): có khiếu hài hước
* the life and soul of the party (noun phrase): tâm điểm của sự chú ý
* a person of his word (noun phrase): người giữ lời hứa

4. Soloist獨奏者
5. 專家
