010/100 Sloth
Sloths are really interesting animals. Since they hang upside down on the trees most of time, their fur grows away from extremities to protect them from the rains in the rain forest. A sloth's fur is also the habitat of all sorts of beetles, mold and fungus(eww...they really need a bath). But sloths have no body oder so their predators can't smell them.
今天畫樹懶。查了資料，發現他們是很有趣的動物，動作慢也就算了，一般動物的毛是往身體末端長，但是因為樹懶大部分時間都倒掛在樹上，為了保護牠們不被雨淋濕（住在雨林裡）所以牠們的毛是倒著長！樹懶的動作慢也是一種保護，這樣他們的天敵不容易發現牠們，而且完全沒有體味，所以敵人也聞不到牠們。但是不表示樹懶就是香的，因為牠們的毛裡住了一堆蟲子、黴菌和菇菌類，哈哈～所以牠們雖然很可愛，但是並不想抱牠們。
樹懶面臨最大的危機不是其他猛獸天敵，而是人類，因為牠們居住的雨林遭到人類的濫墾而消失，再加上人類把牠們抓來當寵物，但是牠們並不適合被豢養。因此有一些樹懶的品種已經絕種。一般來說在雨林生活不受干擾的樹懶，可以活到20歲以上呢。
