【自治區節慶 ～ 坎塔布里亞（Día de Cantabria）】
七月 28 日是坎塔布里亞節，導遊趁機介紹一下這個自治區。

坎塔布里亞（Cantabria）是西班牙的 17 個自治區之一， 位於西班牙北部，面積 5321 km²，人口五十八萬人，人口最多的都市是首府 Santander，也是西班牙最大的銀行 Santander 銀行的發源地。

坎塔布里亞地區面海背山，食材有魚有肉，有很深的美食傳統，對西班牙人來說，它最有名的魚是鹽漬鯷魚（Anchoa），整條魚鯷鹽醃一段時間之後，去魚刺、切成薄片，然後放進油裡面存放，坎塔布里亞地區的鹽漬鯷魚的產量佔西班牙的 80%，其中以 Santoña 的鹽漬鯷魚最有名（Anchoas de Santoña）。

坎塔布里亞還有兩種聞名全國的乳酪蛋糕，一個叫做 Quesada Pasiego，一個叫做 Sobao Pasiego，以及兩種雜燴肉菜鍋，一個叫做Cocido Montañés，一個叫做 Cocido Lebaniego。

坎塔布里亞的重要城市是 Santander，它是西班牙第一個以太陽跟海灘為觀光號召的城市，因為早在 19 世紀國王就愛上那邊的海灘，因此而成為西班牙皇室的避暑勝地。

Santander 在當代建築上有一個特殊的地位，因為建築師 Renzo Piano 在西班牙唯一的作品《波亭中心（Centro Botín）》就在那裡，這也是建築師 Renzo Piano 最後的一個案子。

除此之外，坎塔布里亞還有高第的建築「奇想屋（El Capricho）」，絕美的小鎮以及天然美景，其中 Santillana del Mar 小鎮被選為 2019 年的「鄉村旅遊之都」，Potes 小鎮被選為 2020 年的「鄉村旅遊之都」，其他美麗的小鎮還有 San Vicente de la Barquera、Potes、Bárcena Mayor、Liérganes、Carmona、Mogrovejo 等。

在坎塔布里亞山脈裡保留了三萬五千到一萬一千年前、從直布羅陀到烏拉山脈最重要的舊石器時代的岩洞壁畫，是伊比利亞半島最早的藝術品，也是人類最早的藝術成就以及文化傳統和歷史見證，因為岩洞的深度，所以氣候的影響被隔絕於外，這些岩洞因此被保存得非常完好，因此，阿爾塔米拉岩洞（Cueva de Altamira）壁畫於 1985 年入選世界遺產（Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain）。

很少人知道，這個阿爾塔米拉岩洞（Cueva de Altamira）是全西班牙最難進去的景點，一個星期只能讓五個人進去參觀岩洞壁畫。

坎塔布里亞也是西班牙最棒的避暑勝地之一，在熱浪來襲時，西班牙內陸或地中海沿岸都是四、五十度高溫，可以，坎塔布里亞沿海最高溫卻只有二十幾度左右。

坎塔布里亞的天然景觀跟自然生態保護區也不少：
El Soplao 洞穴（Cueva de El Soplao）是地質學上的一大奇景，位於西班牙北部的 Cantabria 地區，洞穴裡有長達 20 公里的天然隧道，佈滿鐘乳石、石筍，石柱等。

🚩鯨鯊在菲律賓宿霧及馬來西亞沙巴游走🙈

公民科學幫忙做出很多重要的紀錄，例如這次有在菲律賓宿霧紀錄過的鯨鯊游到馬來西亞沙巴，相距800公里😎😎😎…從cebu游去sipada應該也會經過palawan😍😍😍

科學家都會邀請一眾潛水員遇到像鯨鯊、manta rays可辨識的生物幫忙拍下他們的重要辨識部位，這樣可以比對到底是哪一隻個體。

//Citizenscience programmes in Sabah, Malaysia, have been actively collecting identification and presence data on whalesharks with one intriguing visitor in late 2019: a whale shark previously sighted in the south of Cebu, Philippines, was encountered at Pulau Sipadan, in Sabah, Malaysia. This represents a minimum distance movement of 800 km, and also builds on current knowledge that whale sharks are moving between the Sulu and Sulawesi Seas, an area of special conservation interest with some of the world’s highest marine biodiversity.//

The gusty wind and rain storm on the evening of Monday August 13th at Sandakan area blew down few big trees at BSBCC. Our Platform 2 was severely damaged, as well as fences in Pen B and C. Luckily no human nor bear casualty. Therefore we regret to inform you that BSBCC will be close tomorrow.. Our visitor centre and shop remains open for souvenirs shopping. We will show bear’s videos and bear movie at our visitor centre. You can enjoy ice cream and watch movie. I am really sorry for all the inconvenience caused. Recently, she ?? & some of her media friends ????went to visit The Taiping Night Safari @ Taiping Zoo (Taman Mergastua Sultan Idris Shah), Perak, Malaysia ??

Yes, it's the 1️⃣st of its kind in Malaysia ?? with bathed in lighting similarly to moonlight ?? & in a nature alike surroundings to house the animals. In an effort to maintain the experience of a natural environment, this Taiping Night Safari attempts to display nocturnal animals in natural looking settings ????

This Taiping Zoo is special in its own way i.e. located in a natural setting in Taiping Lake Gardens & close to the foot of the Taiping Maxwell Hill ⛰? with streams, lakes & abundance of flora to providing the zoo a unique advantage of being able to use nature ?? to its best. It's the only zoo in the North of Peninsular Malaysia ?? & covering an area of 34 acres. This zoo has embarked on an expansion programme including the building of "Open Concept" animal enclosures & is currently home to more than 180 species of animals i.e. Malayan tigers ? , African lions ? , elephants ? , Hippopotamus, Giraffes ? , Hornbills, Orang Utans, otters, owls ? , Rhinoceros ? etc.

It provides the opportunity for all its visitors/ guests ???to appreciate & value the treasures of nature ?? while enjoying oneself. The above requirements are important so that all its visitors/ guests can fully appreciate their visiting experiences during the Night Safari visit ?

Not just that, all its visitors/ guests ??? are required to try their very best to minimise all noices & speaking so that the sounds of the night ?? animals can be heard??By reducing ⬇️ the noises ????, it also helps to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of this Night Safari. Torchlights ?& flash cameras ? are not allowed ❌ to be used during the Night Safari visitsss to avoid all the animals in the Taiping Zoo being disturbed

Hong Kong Dog Rescue HKDR rescues over 500 dogs every year, and is moving ahead with education and training. This is an overview of the charity's day to day work, shown at the annual Dogfather Fund Raising gala on 28-09-2013. The organisation, which has a strict no-kill policy, has saved over 7,000 dogs in the past ten years.

"The majority are from the government AFCD, Agricultural and Fisheries Conservation Animal Management Centers, and in fact initially, that's why we set up, or I set up Hong Kong Dog Rescue, was specifically to take those dogs, because they have four days and then they are then put to sleep. But now we are seeing more and more dogs being surrendered directly to us, and also breeders,dogs coming from breeders. (27 secs)

A rigorous screening process aims to find the best home for each dog.

"We ask adopters to fill in the questionnaire, and then we try to recommend to them the dog that would be suit their situation. People are very attracted to a look, a breed name, size and all the rest of it. Sometimes it's difficult to persuade adopters that the dog that they want to take home isn't the ideal dog and then often the dog comes back. But we just try to make sure that it's the right dog for the right home. (32 secs)

"We went to consider the idea of getting A dog, these two little six-week old puppies ended up coming home as our fosters. They are too young to be separated right? We will see.
