A Renault 4 for you! The third collaboration piece with @呉竹Kuretake painted using their Kuretake Transparent Watercolor Palette 12 Colors Set. I wanted to do something more straightforward for this one because it's also about the "Student-only Watercolor Art Competition," which Kuretake is holding during World Watercolors Month!

This is also my entry to the #worldwatercolormonth2021 ! I will not be doing all the prompts, but let' say that this piece is for the "faithful" prompt. This car certainly looks like it's faithful, alright.

When we were still living outside of Tokyo, near Enoshima, on our way to the supermarket, we would always walk by a shop that was fixing and restoring old (mostly European) cars! I took a lot of photos of very interesting vehicles there! When I want to paint something a bit different from my usual landscapes, I often go for the cars folder. ;)

The first collaboration piece with @呉竹Kuretake painted using their ZiG Historic Art brush-pens set inspired by Claude Monet! This was an exciting challenge to try - painting something with only the six pens and the included brush pen. I drew the lines with Kuretake's Mangaka felt tip pens.

This is also my entry to the #worldwatercolormonth2021 I will not be doing all the prompts, but let' say that this piece is for the first one, which is "reflection."

I had a lot of fun trying out the brush pens, but this time I used them more like I would do with regular watercolors - mixing them on ceramic plates. This experiment got me excited about using the more convenient 48 colors set without mixing or diluting the inks. That should be a nice challenge too! There will be a making video of this piece later on my YouTube channel!

Rode sent me their new Micdrop and it is genuinely something I am excited about. It's not the sexiest piece of gear but as a working professional, when I see stuff that makes me life just a fraction of a s second easier, I can't help it (must be getting old). There isn't much to talk about it so I decided to make a #short to show how you use it! I've tested it with other non-Rode mics and they work the same. It'll depend on the thickness of the end of the cable but it functions very similarly. It also looks really good I might add...
