Minimalist?

If you ask me if I’m a “minimalist”, probably I would say no. Honestly, I own more than just black turtleneck and jeans like Steve Jobs, and I have more than 5 furnitures at home.

But I embrace simplicity. Conscious living not only makes my life simpler, it also brings a lot of beautiful things like the outfit I’m wearing.

Snapped this pretty sunset from the 36th storey ‘Sky Gardens’ at SkyVille@Dawson last week.

SkyVille and its neighbour, SkyTerrace@Dawson, are two new-generation Housing & Development Board BTO projects. The Sky Gardens are an aerial version of the traditional void deck, a common area for residents to relax and interact.

Besides the Sky Gardens, the projects also feature a park-like environment, paired units and eco-friendly features. We will implement similar ideas in upcoming housing developments in Punggol Northshore, Bidadari and Tampines North.

At the same time, HDB continues to offer new, affordable flats, like the ones to be launched in Punggol, Sembawang, Clementi and Tampines.
