The tour bus driver who was at the wheel when his bus crashed into an embankment on the Suhua Highway in March, leaving six people dead, was indicted on negligent homicide charges by Yilan prosecutors Tuesday.

The student, Lu Shu-chen (呂淑楨), was the youngest victim of the crash. She had taken a few days off school to accompany her parents on a trip to Hualien County, but on the return journey, their tour bus crashed into an embankment on the Suhua Highway connecting Yilan and Hualien counties.
