【送給大家的聖誕禮物】

如果你需要在家中搞聖誕派對或者希望令聖誕氣氛更濃厚，但又不知道應該放甚麼音樂，我為大家做了一個我的百大聖誕專輯列表！ 為了做這個列表，我用上了整整一個月（加上多年的收集與聆聽聖誕音樂的經驗）的時間！注意這個list沒有EP或者群星精選碟，而是集中於個人或音樂拍檔的專輯（就算是back catalog的碟，也是因為原裝的專輯已經絕版了），而如果是群星碟，也不是精選碟而是新歌為主的碟。所以一些經典精選碟如"Soul Christmas"就不會出現在這個列表當中了。

你知排名這回事其實可以隨時間變來變去，但我個人認為這列表應該頗接近我的最終列表。雖然這是一個個人的列表，亦不是甚麼權威性音樂雜誌的選舉，但我有信心它不會被Rolling Stone的四十大聖誕專輯比下去，而少至我有一百張，足足多過Rolling Stone六十張！

【我的二十張心水爵士聖誕唱片】
我剛在iCompass寫了兩篇文章，選出了我的二十張心水爵士聖誕唱片。其動機是因為2016年的電影《星聲夢裡人》發生在高級餐廳的一幕把爵士樂與聖誕歌說成兩種水火不容的東西，與現實不乎。其實有很多的傳統聖誕歌曲都帶有濃厚的爵士味道，而根本上爵士樂就是聖誕音樂中不可或缺的部份。聖誕名曲如Nat King Cole 的 “The Christmas Song” 、花生漫畫的 “Christmas Time is Here” 、Kay Starr 的 “(Everybody's Waitin' For) The Man With The Bag” 首次出版時便已經是爵士樂曲。有見及此，我希望為這個誤解來個平反，並選出自己最喜歡以及在流行音樂歷史上有著一定影響力的二十張爵士聖誕唱片。

每年很多旅客來俄羅斯，都想去各大劇院觀看芭蕾舞表演，特別是天鵝湖和胡桃夾子，這兩部芭蕾舞劇的音樂就是出自柴可夫斯基之手。其實不單如此，大家有時看電視廣告或電影，都很有可能聽過柴可夫斯基的作品。柴氏筆下的音樂旋律優美，扣人心弦，又充滿俄國色彩，是古典界和俄羅斯最具代表性的音樂大師。
