🇬🇧大冒險記事 Chapter 3
【一星期的點滴】
終於在這裡生活了一星期🎉大致健康又愉快❤️
每天也在煮早午晚3餐,食材真的很便宜!(一盒minced beef 3.75鎊,可以吃3餐!frozen pizza也只是1.5鎊!蔬果很新鮮都是1-2鎊!當然也包括出前一丁餐和合味道杯面餐😆)
可是溫度真的比較清涼,有時風雨+放晴幾小時來回3/4遍,於是把大型衣服店都看了一遍,結論是:
🔹M&S
質地真的很好,是香港7折左右的價錢,部份新貨有買2送1優惠,亦有減價區,粒霖一向很喜歡這裡的T恤,但錞姐已經穿不下那些很可愛的2-7 years 童裝系列,而少女系是豹紋…閃片…😅
🔹Zara
跟香港價錢完全一樣!看到剛剛買的夏季衣服,而且還未減價!
🔹H&M
也是跟香港一樣價錢,差不多的款式~
🔹Primark
H&M的價錢,有超級多童裝選擇,有很多授權衣物,即是Mickey Minnie、Anna Elsa、Snoopy、Mario、Pokemon等等,要花很多時間選購‼️比起M&S,這裡的童裝是2-8years的~
🔹Next
比Primark看上去整齊一點又貴一點,看到有細節位的校服出售,我好喜歡~
🔹New Look
感覺是便宜的,有很多牛仔褲選擇,但整體就是「not my cup of tea」🤭
還有🔹Reiss 跟 🔹River Island,再逛再逛🙌🏻
拖延了一星期,也終於給錞霖買了一點新玩具😆她們當然什麼也拿起來說要想買(例如美甲套裝、化妝盒、公主頭像、slime、Jack Jack公仔、跳舞樹熊、工程車….)只是經過Phoenix媽媽的周詳考慮,知道1️⃣tactile play 2️⃣open end toy 才可以玩得長久,最後買了泥膠類的Bobble It 跟++ Plus Plus,果然回家後玩了一整晚,世界和平達成👍🏻

Chapter 6.
Set goals, work hard and reward yourself. Aside from long term goals, I like to set many short term goals for myself to slowly achieve them one by one. If I succeed in achieving the goal, I would reward myself with something I like, it could be something I’ve always wanted or a nice meal at my fave restaurant.....this is to motivate me to keep working hard. If I fail in achieving the goal, I still reward my self, but with something smaller, a bubble tea or a cappuccino for example.......this is kind of a way to encourage myself and pat myself on the back saying “it’s ok” but don’t give up. Of course, this is just my own little way of motivating myself that I wanted to share with u guys today, there’s no right or wrong, I’d love to know what goal routines do you guys have? 🌈💪🏻

Dear friends,
WE ARE FINALLY MARRIED! 🤵🏻👰🏻♀️ After being together for more than 6 years. 🍃We have decided that it’s finally time. 🤣 We have a lot of friends and had always wanted to invite all of them to celebrate this special day of love. 💕 But due to the pandemic, 🦠 we also didn’t want people to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or putting our love ones at risk, ⚠️ hence the virtual 🔊 tea ceremony and short notice of breaking the news. Hopefully when situation permits, 🙏🏻 we will get to meet up again and share our excitement with you in person ❤️ We praise the Lord for his love and faithfulness. We thank him for giving us the power to love well. Thank you for my spouse and his lovely family too. 🥰Thank you for the gift of marriage and we pray that he’ll continue to bless us as we step into this new chapter of our lives ❤️ Last but not least, thank you to my friends and family for the well wishes and gifts, we’re forever grateful 😘

How to make Matcha Ice Cream
☞ Container size: at least 800ml
☞ To freeze mixing bowl 12 hours before
✎ Ingredients
heavy cream 250g
sweetened condensed milk 170g
milk 50g
IPPODO matcha powder 15g
✎ Instructions
1. Sift the matcha powder.
2. Add milk into the matcha powder and mix well until it becomes the paste form.
3. Add condensed milk into the matcha paste, slowly incorporating the mixture until smooth. If there are too many lumps, sift it.
4. Pour the cold heavy cream into a freese mixing bowl, whip the cream on medium high speed until almost stiff peaks, be careful not to over whip.
5. Gently add the matcha mixture into the whipped cream, whip on low speed until the mixture becomes thick and airy.
6. Transfer the mixture to an 800~1000ml metal container and freeze for 4-6 hours.

Maritozzi are gorgeous and delicious Italian cream buns. It's a kind of soft and light brioche style bun which is sliced in half, then filled with whipped cream! You can easy to get one in Rome's pastry shops or coffee shops. Usually people enjoy it with coffee for breakfast. Or even for afternoon tea.
Maritozzi buns are originally found in the Lazio region in Rome and date back to the Middle Ages. They're made with yeast, flour, egg, sugar, butter, honey, salt, and orange zest. There is a tradition that a boyfriend or future husband gives his lover these sweet cream buns as a sign of his love, or hides a ring inside the bun. So romantic. How to make Maritozzi Con La Panna
Maritozzi Con La Panna Recipe
☞ Yield: Serve 5
✎ Ingredients
bread flour 167g
unsalted butter 25g
granulated sugar 27g
medium egg 2
instant yeast 2.2g
salt 2.3g
honey 7g
an half orange zest
milk 45g
✎ Instructions
1. In a large bowl, add milk (room temp), a teaspoon of the total quantity of sugar and instant yeast and 15g of the total quantity of flour together, mix well to create a smooth paste. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
2. Then add egg mixture, the remaining of sugar, honey and orange zest into the bowl, mix to combine.
3. Add the remaining of flour and salt, combine the ingredients, incorporating the flour bit by bit.
4. Transfer the dough to the work surface, the dough will be sticky but try not to add too much flour, a little is fine, just knead until it becomes a ball, it should come together nicely. You can use a scraper to collect the dough.
5. Add the softened butter, press the dough out in a way on the work surface to help blending the ingredients together, then scrape the dough back into the center, and continue to press the dough again until fully incorporated.
6. Next, use the slap and fold method to knead the dough, just pick up the dough and slap it down, then fold it over, and repeat again, until the dough is smooth and soft. You can also use a mixer for this procedure.
7. Place the dough ball in a bowl and cover with a plastic wrap in a warm place for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
8. Turn the dough onto a work surface. Divide the dough into pieces of 55g for each. Degas them gently, rolling each bun into a small round shape. Place them one by one onto a baking sheet with baking paper. Cover with a tea towel or plastic wrap loosely, let them rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
9. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 200ºC, brush the maritozzo with an egg wash and bake for about 12~14 mins, or until golden on top.
10. Once baked, let the buns cool completely.
11. Cut the bread in half without cutting through. Open slightly and fill with fresh whipped cream, and dust with icing sugar.
12. Enjoy.

The chef Thomas Keller wrote "they are my favorite of the classic petit-four cakes". Also, financiers are one of my favorite French bakery treats. They're buttery, moist, nutty and delicious. How to make Classic French Financier
Classic French Financier Recipe
☞ we use 6 cavity mold, each cavity size: 8 x 4.5 x 2cm
✎ Ingredients
powdered sugar 70g
almond flour 30g
walnut 10g
egg white 80g (about 2 large eggs)
all purpose flour 20g
baking powder 0.5g (a pinch)
brown butter/beurre noisette 42g (need about 60g unsalted butter)
honey 6g
✎ Instructions
1. Butter the pan, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
2. Grind the walnuts in a food processor, pulse until the nuts are as finely ground, be careful not to grind them to paste.
3. Separate the eggs and weigh 80g of egg white.
4. To make the brown butter. Add 60g of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium low heat for minutes until the milk solids have sunk to the bottom and have begun to turn light brown. Once the color begins to turn amber color, remove from heat.
5. Pour the brown butter through a strainer, and weight 42g of butter, set aside and keep warm.
6. In a large bowl, sift the powdered sugar, then sift the flour, almond flour and baking powder.
7. Add grind walnut with all dry ingredients, mix well.
8. Add honey and egg white, whisk until combined.
9. Pour the very warm brown butter, whisk together until the butter is incorporated and the batter is smooth
10. Pour the batter into the pans, filling them about 2/3.
11. Preheat the oven to 200°C,bake for 13-14 minutes or until the tops and the edges are golden brown.
12. Once baked, cool the financiers for minutes, and then turn them onto a wire rack to cool completely.
