:: Một số kênh trên Netflix bạn nên xem để tăng khả năng tiếng Anh (part 1) ::
Trong bài này mình sẽ giới thiệu đến mọi người 1 số kênh mình hay xem để luyện nghe cũng như học thêm từ vựng trên Netflix nhá!!!
1. Explained
Đây là show phim tài liệu (docuseries) của Vox giải thích các khái niệm xoay quanh đời sống thường nhật của chúng ta một cách rất dễ hiểu, ví dụ như giải thích về “music / gender equality / can we live forever? / astrology (chiêm tinh học & cung hoàng đạo) / stock market (thị trường chứng khoáng) / beauty / …). Xem kênh này bạn vừa học được từ vựng academic mà vừa học thêm được kiến thức cực xịn luôn. Ngôn ngữ của show này rất phù hợp cho Writing Task 2 và Speaking Part 3.
2. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Đây là show truyền hình thực tế (reality shows) nên ngôn ngữ dùng sẽ rất chân thực và ngẫu hứng. Show này chắc sẽ phù hợp cho các bạn nữ vì show xoay quanh cuộc sống của các bà nội trợ của các tài phiệt siêu giàu tại Los Angeles. Show này rất đỗi drama nên nếu bạn là người thích hít cho bổ phổi thì nên xem nha :))). Ngôn ngữ trong show này khá là casual nên sẽ phù hợp cho Speaking part 1 và 2 của IELTS. Đặc biệt khi các “she” ngồi than thở và nói về cảm nhận bản thân thì đây là một sample rất tốt cho speaking part 2 luôn.
3. Instant Hotel
Đây là show truyền hình thực tế (reality shows) nên ngôn ngữ dùng sẽ rất chân thực và ngẫu hứng. Show này được sản xuất bởi Úc nên các bạn sẽ được làm quen với giọng Úc (1 giọng khá là khó hiểu trong IELTS listening). Show này là một kì thi cho các home owners - họ sẽ ở thử nhà của nhau và sau đó đánh giá trải nghiệm lẫn nhau để chọn ra the winner. Mình rất thích show này vì đây toàn là các holiday homes để nghỉ mát nên quang cảnh xung quanh cực đẹp, và mình còn học được rất nhiều từ vựng để miêu tả 1 căn nhà / nội thất (phù hợp với speaking part 2). Nếu bạn thích kiến trúc và du lịch thì show này rất phù hợp với bạn nha.
Hôm nay mình giới thiệu trước 3 shows cho mọi người thôi. Chúc các bạn sẽ có thêm động lực coi shows và nâng trình nghe nói nhé.

Loud, obnoxious and annoying does not equal talent. Can't wait to watch her go into that workroom & sign her name on that mirror. But I suspect because RuPaul likes her so much, she might go all the way to the finals.
WOW says, "If you can't love all our Queens, then STFU," but they designed the show to be polarizing that way. And they edit the shows so that some Queens are not loved as much as the others. Can't blame fans for having our favorites. And fans will stand up and speak up when they see their favorites being bullied or threatened. Of course I am not condoning or making excuses for anybody who would be stupid enough to send death threats and hateful mail to these Queens' family members, because no matter how annoying you are, you don't deserve that kind of disproportionate clapback. But if you are going to be an asshole on TV, do not expect people to like you. People are allowed to hate you and people are allowed to state their opinions about you because you're the ones who put yourself in that TV show. If you can't handle the heat, then alter your behavior or just get out of the limelight, honey.
This is not Real Housewives. Queens should carry themselves with some dignity, class and decorum.
I have to say, Kandy IS funny though - in this week's episode she actually accused herself of having 'star quality'. LOL. Star Quality 🙄
