The plague has disrupted our social machinery: Governments frazzled, industries in turmoil, and the people in danger. In the face of such a historic tidal wave, where is civilization heading?

Addressing the urgent issues that arose as COVID-19 has become "the new normal," the 2020 Taiwan International Education Summit is dedicated to exploring the following two questions:

First, technology's pervasiveness in our lives has become even more overwhelming as the COVID-19 continues. If the need for technology is inevitable, is it possible to make it more humane and support our holisticity?

Second, the already bloating higher education bubble also came to the brink of bursting. Yet, we're more than ever in need of citizens capable of reconstructing our societies' epistemic, institutional, and infrastructural foundations -- If this is what higher education ought to strive for, how might it be possible?

"Physical distancing" is a better term than social distancing. We have to stay socially connected through this pandemic. Community building, togetherness, and emotional connections via electronic devices are imperative for our mental health.

Survival in the rainforest - foraging in the rainforest
We did the jungle survival challenge. It started with us being abandoned in the woods. There is no water, food and a lot of danger in the forest. we have to look for food and differentiate which is edible. If we eat some poisonous foods by mistake, we can lose our lives. we look for fruit and other edible animals. we went very far and found a stream. that is the water for us to survive. we found small crabs and an edible bamboo tree. Using survival skills we created fire to cook food. We will continue to post these videos at a later date. In the following video we can build shelters and make traps to find food
