Những từ như everybody, somebody, anybody, nobody thực ra là số ít chứ không phải số nhiều mặc dù chúng nói về nhiều người.
==> Everybody is happy.

2. I’ll explain you the problem.
Trong câu này có 2 objects. Trong đó ""the problem"" là direct object, ""you"" là indirect object. Sau explain chúng ta phải dùng to trước indirect object - người mà ta đang giải thích vấn đề cho họ. Direct object thường được đắt trước nên câu đúng sẽ là :
==> I'll explain the problem to you.

3. I have the possibility to study in Canada next year.
Từ possibility chỉ thừng được dùng với ""there is"", ví dụ: ""There's a possibility I may study in Canada next year.""
Với ""have"", chúng ta dùng ""opportunity"" mới đúng.
==> I have the opportunity to study in Canada next year.

4. I think she doesn’t like tomatoes.
Mặc dù câu này không mắc lỗi về ngữ pháp nhưng thường người ta sẽ dùng cách nói sau:
==> I don't think she likes tomatoes.

Ta không thường dùng ""that"" phía sau ""want""
==> Do you want me to make breakfast?

6. I’m thinking to buy a new car.
Phía sau ""think"" không sử dụng ""to infinitive""
==> I'm thinking of/about buying a new car.

7. They enjoyed the baseball game despite of the rain.
""Despite"" và ""in spite of"" có cùng nghĩa nhưng nhiều người bị lẫn lộn cách dùng. Sau ""despite"" ta không bao giờ sử dụng ""of""
==> They enjoyed the baseball game despite the rain.
They enjoyed the baseball game in spite of the rain.

8. My ten-years-old daughter loves to dance.
Khi đi phía sau động từ ""to be"" thì ta dùng ""years"". Nhưng khi sử dụng như trên thì ta chỉ dùng ""year"" mà thôi.
==> My ten-year-old daughter loves to dance.

9. Our house is near to the beach.
""Near"" và ""close to"" mang cùng một nghĩa nhưng ""near"" không bao giờ đi với ""to""
==> Our house is near the beach.
Our house is close to the beach.

Câu này những bạn mới học tiếng Anh rất hay sai. Không ai nói như vậy cả.
==> I like soccer very much.

11. Gary gave to Joan the keys.
Cũng giống như ""explain"" ở phía trên.
==> Gary gave Joan the keys.
Gary gave the keys to Joan.

12. I don't know what is her name.
Chỉ đảo ngữ 1 lần thôi nhé các bạn.
==> I don't know what her name is.

13. They left without say goodbye.
Khi sử dụng động từ sau conjunctions và prepositions như: after, before, since, when, while, without, instead of, in spite of ... ta thường sử dụng Ving.
==> They left without saying goodbye.

14. I need to finish this project until Friday.
Khi nói về deadlines như hạn nộp bài, hạn làm một việc gì đó, phải hoàn thành xong trước thời điểm đó ta dùng ""by""
==> I need to finish this project by Friday."

One of Dan Lok’s passions in life is martial arts. Like many young kids, after watching a Bruce Lee movie, it changed his life forever. At 17 years old, Dan started training in martial arts seriously because he was being bullied in school. It wasn’t long for Dan to learn the techniques he needed, and gain the confidence necessary to defend himself.
Dan has studied with legendary martial artist such as Bruce Lee’s original student Ted Wong (http://tedwongjkd.net) and Joe Lewis “The Worlds Greatest Fighter” (http://joelewisassociation.com), making him a second generation student of Bruce Lee - in Bruce Lee's authentic art of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). He's also a third generation student of Ip Man (Wing Chun Kung Fu).
Dan has also trained with other great instructors like Sifu Adam Chan (https://www.pragmaticmartialarts.com), Canadian lightweight boxing champion Tony "Fire Kid" Pep (https://www.facebook.com/pepboxing), and Octavio Quintero (https://www.theartofjkd.com)
For Dan, martial arts training permeates every area of life. It’s not a hobby, it’s a way of life, and it influences how he does business.
Martial arts gave him the confidence, focus, and patience to push through these obstacles and to keep fighting when he felt like giving up.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dan is NOT a full-time martial artist and he doesn't even claim to be that good of a fighter.
