A group of six Tao people from Lanyu (Orchid Island) who are rowing one of their traditional fishing boats around Taiwan arrived in Chiayi County on Thursday as they come closer to completing a voyage inspired by a late documentary filmmaker.

What is there to see in Hong Kong? How about a traditional fishing folk house boat? I visited Aberdeen Fishing Heritage Tour 浪遊漁港1773 #hosted yesterday, and it was the best cultural travel thing I've done this past year.
They also take you around the harbour to see the Jumbo floating seafood restaurant and there's plenty of photo opps!

Formed in the southern port city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s Second City, Fire Ex. has for two straight decades gone from strength to strength, penning one hooky, politically charged anthem after another. Known as much for their social activism as they are for their soaring, anthemic take on the pop punk genre, Fire Ex. band members Sam Yang (vocals, guitar), ORio (guitar), JC(bass) and KG(drums) have since forming in the year 2000 championed causes near and dear to the millennial generation of Taiwanese.
Taiwan Beats invites four Taiwanese bands, Enno Cheng, Fire EX., The Chairs and NekoJam to play at Taiwanese iconic attractions, varied from mountains, traditional factory, indoor shrimp fishing to Taiwanese temples.
The interdisciplinary Enno Cheng allurres people with her contagious and soul touching sounds. Growing up in the hills of Beitou, cultivated by nature, Cheng empowers her works with intrepid and poetic perspectives. Into the wild, we hear beyond music.
