北側の富山ライトレールは、2019年8月に富山駅北停留所が50m北側に移動、2020年2月に富山地方鉄道に吸収合併され、1943年以来77年ぶりに富山地鉄の路線となりました。
南北接続開業後の富山港線は、岩瀬浜-南富山駅(1本/時)、岩瀬浜-富山大学前(1本/時)、岩瀬浜-環状線-岩瀬浜(2本/時)の3系統が基本的に運行されています。
運行車両は、9000形セントラム、T100形サントラム、TLR0600形ポートラムの低床車両のみで、7000形、8000形は乗り入れません。
元富山ライトレールのポートラムが市内中心部を走行したり、セントラム、サントラムが富山港線を走行するシーンを見ることが出来るようになりました。
