Captain America X Taiwan! 幾個禮拜前訂了這套腳踏車衣服，結果比我想到更帥！今天騎了快四十公里，彰化市騎到和美鎮回來. 我離和美鎮那麼近，我之前為何沒去過旅行拍影片？疫情過後肯定會去拍喔！I went biking again.
提醒：上次的騎腳踏車貼文有幾個酸民罵我出門，自己說「你看得懂中文嗎，疫情不能出門！」我只要說，他看不懂... 我們還沒封城，當然可以出門但是要小心和不要亂跑等等. 我出門騎腳踏車留在路上，與人保留距離. 而且，按照好幾個研究病毒在太陽下很快就死，我做的這樣完全沒有給人家風險. 我戴了口罩，在太陽下，也保持距離.

2020年疫情來襲前幾個月，Disney 剛剛以獨攬全球半數票房的成績成為史上最成功的電影片廠。2021年美國疫情緩解以來，各家片廠的新片（嚴格說都是去年上不了的舊片）包含 Warner 的《Godzilla vs. Kong 哥吉拉大戰金剛》、《The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It 厲陰宅3：是惡魔逼我的》、Paramount 的《A Quiet Place part II 噤界2》以及目前僅在部分市場先行上映的 Universal 的《F9 玩命關頭9》都已經創下幾乎接近疫情前水準的票房。然而原本統治半個地球票房的 Disney 自家的《Cruslla 時尚惡女：庫伊拉》卻賣垮了。雖然 Disney 火速宣佈開拍續集，但這是好萊塢常用的公關技巧，比如 Paramount 早在《Star Trek Beyond 星際爭霸戰：浩瀚無垠》上映前就搶先宣佈續集，五年後連個鬼影都沒有。如果 Disney 無法統治2021年電影院重啟之後的市場，這意味著 2019年 Disney 的實力可能不是真實力。作者認為 2019年 Disney 一口氣倒出復仇者聯盟、阿拉丁、獅子王、冰雪奇緣和星戰電影的原因，不排除是為了當時就謠傳要交班的執行長 Bob Iger 製造一個震天嘎響的句點（Iger 2020年初交出執行長位置，並預計今年底交出董事長位置），也有可能是為了讓這些重量級電影可以來得及在2019年底開台的 Disney+ 上架助陣。實情是 Disney 自2003年前後的《Pirates of the Caribbean 神鬼奇航》和《National Treasure 國家寶藏》之後就再也沒有產出過成功的新 IP，完全仰賴一次又一次的併購拿別人家的 IP 補血。而當有一天觀眾終於對 Disney 倉庫裡的所有 IP 疲乏之後該怎麼辦？

明天即將上架的 DIsney+ 的 Marvel 節目《Loki 洛基》對 DIsney+ 來說意義非比尋常。過去兩部 Marvel 影集《WandaVision 汪達與幻視》和《Falcon and the Winter Soldier 獵鷹與酷寒戰士》都把電視影集當成銜接 Marvel 電影宇宙的前導預告之類的功能：前者是為了《Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 奇異博士2》暖場，後者則是為了讓獵鷹正式接手美國隊長頭銜的《Captain America 4 美國隊長4》鋪路。《洛基》雖然故事起點仍是復仇者聯盟中的情節線，但初步看來後頭沒有打算要銜接任何東西。因此《洛基》將成為串流平台Disney+ 的期中考，證明自己真的有勢力擺脫 Mavel 電影宇宙陰影，表現自己作為一個獨立說故事平台的機會。過去的漫畫經驗告訴我們最好的故事經常出自那些主線宇宙以外的獨立故事，而非那些動輒一二十年、連續上千集的連續性故事線宇宙。更何況《汪達與幻視》和《獵鷹與酷寒戰士》的觀眾都必須是既有 Marvel 電影的觀眾才能銜接上下文，而《洛基》將有機會用他獨一無二的性格開發 Marvel 電影宇宙之外的新觀眾。

以投資房地產、科技和娛樂媒體著稱的的美國投資銀行 Allen & Co. 每年於愛達荷州太陽谷舉辦的太陽谷高峰會，是矽谷、好萊塢和美國政治人物搶著參加的富豪俱樂部。去年高峰會因為疫情取消，今年七月將恢復舉辦。這篇報導細數了會議成員的來來去去：比如賣掉 Fox 片廠的 Rupert Murdoch 父子不會參加，而剛剛把 WarnerMedia 脫手的 AT&T 執行長 John Stanky 也要跳過。而新加入的成員正好是接手 WarnerMedia 爛攤子的 Discovery 執行長 David Zaslav。他還會在會場遇到剛剛併購 MGM 的 Jeff Bezos（前提是 Bezos 剛剛曝光的上太空計畫沒有撞期）。此外，那些現金足夠買下好萊塢片廠的科技大亨，包含 Tim Cook、Mark Zuckerberg 以及 Netflix 的 Ted Sarandos 、 Reed Hastings 也都會現身。此外還包含一直要跟別人澄清他沒有要賣片廠的 Sony 執行長吉田憲一郎也會出席。點名這些人是因為太陽谷高峰會除了是商界和政界謀求職務的聯誼場合之外，也是類似婚友社之類的企業併購聯誼平台。許多著名的企業併購就是起自會議上有心無心的看對眼，而東道主 Allen & Co. 自己就主導過多起好萊塢片廠交易/併購，包含命運多舛的 AT&T 併購 Time Warner 一案。串流大戰中，好萊塢被迫藉由併購來集結 IP 武器應戰，而今年的太陽谷高峰會則是揀別人掉下來的武器的好地方。
