The ties between Taiwan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have grown steadily, especially over the past two years, the Caribbean country's embassy in Taiwan has affirmed as the two countries celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

MOFA Minister Joseph Wu recorded a special video to mark 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties with #StVincentAndTheGrenadines.
This enduring relationship has seen cooperation across a whole range of sectors, from #agriculture to #PublicHealth, #technology, #education and infrastructure development.
In the wake of the volcanic eruption earlier this year, #Taiwan was there to help the local people back on their feet and a disaster management and medical capacity building cooperation pact was signed by both countries to ensure that necessary preparations are taken to lessen the impact of future disasters on the local people.
