Featuring pieces from the House’s sustainable Gucci Off The Grid collection in a new gray palette, ‘A Place of Our Own’ directed by up-and-coming talent Sam Olanipekun in collaboration with A Vibe Called Tech depicts a beautiful Black couple living a carefree existence. Words by Pavan Bivigou are a poetic exchange between the couple where they describe “Everything we love: sage, mountains, sunsets, patchoulis.” The words unfold as an ode to an imagined future, a world is presented that is free from clutter and waste and is one where we can choose the best of both worlds: design and function, nature and manmade.

They actually had to legally fight to be able to get drivers licenses with just a general area rather than a specific address.
It’s extremely rare for outsiders to get to experience this very traditional and very hardcore lifestyle, and I’m so grateful to them for opening up their home to me and my friends @Dave Disci Vlogs and @Seabolt Speaks. Both we and the family were fully vaccinated for COVID before this trip, and thanks also to Babbel for sponsoring this video and I’ll be donating 100% of the sponsorship proceeds to the Rock Point Community School, which educates local kids.
