美國西維吉尼亞大學是美國頂尖大學之一都，包括工程、礦產資源、商業、管理、市場行銷、傳播、新聞、社會科學、生物和生物醫學科學等領域都非常傑出。該大學是西維吉尼亞州的驕傲之源，幾乎每一個校隊都擁有死忠粉絲。西維吉尼亞大學的足球、籃球、棒球、步槍隊等經常參加美國大學體育賽事的最高級別比賽，其中許多運動員都參加NFL和NBA比賽。 步槍隊的成員Ginny Thrasher更贏得了美國2016年奧運會的第一枚金牌。除了田徑運動，雖然西維吉尼亞大學以「派對學校」而聞名，但它更為人所知的是校友們在世界各地都很自豪地穿著我們學校的服裝。在WVU的著名校友中有演員Don Knotts，NBA執行官Jerry West，演員和喜劇演員Steve Harvey以及小說家Stephen Coonts。

West Virginia University is known for being one of the top U.S. university’s in the fields of Engineering, Mineral Resources, Business, Management, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Social Sciences, and Biological and Biomedical Sciences. The university is a source of pride for the state of West Virginia whose athletic teams enjoy almost a religious following. WVU’s football, basketball, baseball, rifle teams, among others, regularly compete at the highest levels of U.S. collegiate sports with many of its athletes playing in the NFL and NBA. Ginny Thrasher, a member of the WVU Rifle Team, won the United States’ first gold medal in the 2016 Olympics. Aside from athletics, while WVU is famous for being a “party school”, it is more well-known for its sense of pride among its alumni who proudly wear our school’s clothing around the world. Among WVU’s famous alumni are actor Don Knotts, NBA Executive Jerry West, actor and comedian Steve Harvey, and novelist Stephen Coonts.
