.. It's been over a year with Ellie now, and breastfeeding 🤱 her for as long as I can, committing myself as much as I had with her brothers too. Definitely an enriching and rewarding journey seeing how her brothers benefit from my contribution.
Many of my friends told me how impressed by my determination and I must emphasise that it definitely didn’t come without any struggles. Love to share how we managed to go thru this long nights and all around the clock schedule for the past 6 years…
1. Cuddle and skin contact as much as you can! I’m a self high mama, and I have high level of energy. After Every birth labour I would smell, touch, carry and request for long skin to skin contact moments (As much as Im exhausted from all the pushes, my adrenaline and urge to feed them is higher than being fatigue). Though having ample rest is also very important, make sure you are well-rested too! As all these senses of smell, touch and sight helps in promoting lactation production too! To make it more comfy at home, side latch and cuddle to nap together (be careful when you co-sleep so as not to endanger your baby).
2. Stay hydrated and eat! Yes, feed yourself mama or else how you can get your energy or nutrients to feed your little ones! Drinking up, especially before every feed - mine was warm red date tea, milo and even bbt helped me! All types of Soups, especially those with a lot collagens such as white fungus, pork bones and even peach gums boosted my supply. (Pls check - for peach gums may be too cooling for some)
3. Rest, nap and sleep while you can! No need to explain but you know why. It regenerates your own recovery too. I literally nap as much as my babies, and I do that together, so side latching is definitely my favourite position.

Throwback to a time, not so long ago, some of the greatest chefs in Bangkok, congregated in other to cook the most extraordinary of ordinary meals for charity's sake.
Thanks to @foodforfightersth for showing us that grit, passion and determination can achieve greatness for mankind. Since that first encounter @bangkokfoodies have been proud to cooperate further with #Foodforfighters, enlisting the help of over 30 restaurants in Bangkok to cook for charity for the #MakeGoodWaste Program.
Highlights of the day include being fed by the great @davidwjthompson,his Hat Yai Fried chicken, tasting Chef @chefsomjutamas incredible West Bengal version of Khao Mok Gai, seeing @iampanchana and @firstiey of FFF in action and just being around so much goodwill in general, which gave us all the extra positive vibes that were desperately needed in these terrible times.

Restless Heart
Restless Heart, the self-produced debut album, is made with much love and determination. This project is a celebration of a life and a decade-long career in music for Janet. The album has six original English compositions and four Chinese covers that reflect Janet’s unique musical proclivity of mixing jazz, musical, pop, ballad and folk. These songs are a result of extensive collaborations between Janet and her long-time colleague and music director, Tay Cher Siang, himself an internationally accomplished musician and performer.
Besides highlighting her skilled interpretations, this compilation also shows off Janet’s unique and versatile vocals. Furthermore, the songs also represent a biography of Janet's minstrel life as a wandering dreamer still seeking to stay her wayward heart.

Today we have a full upper body workout targeting your arms, back, chest and shoulders! For those lucky enough to have gyms still open to them, this is a perfect workout for you!
Grab a set of light to medium dumbbells to push your body for 8-12 reps. It should feel difficult by the last few reps of each exercise, that's when you know you've chosen the right weight for the exercise. If you don't have any dumbbells, try to find alternatives to use at home.
This is a 45 min - 1 hour workout depending on your rest times and number of sets. Do this 3 times a week along with your other workouts, cardio and strict dieting, to help achieve your fat loss & muscle building goals. If you do this properly, this will help with your body transformation, build a lean and defined upper body in 8-12 weeks!
