Brooks is currently 14.5 months old now and starting to say the Most Hurtful 2-letter word now (“N-O”) so I am just trying to cope with my own adult feelings here. Being constantly rejected 100% does not feel good, whether it’s from a grown man or a tiny person who is just learning to talk.
And no, second child doesn’t make this emotional rollercoaster easier.
