香港學生的千年英文錯誤:
used to vs. be used to
I used to work in Central, one of the CBDs in Hong Kong.我曾經在中環返工。
I am used to working in Central. I dress in smart casual every day. I work in a glamourous office. 我已經很習慣在中環返工了。我每天穿smart casual。我在一個光鮮的office工作。
used to 做一啲野,以前做,used係「二號動詞」,用simple past tense
be used to唔一定係past tense,個be變咩tense都可以,used係形容詞,等於accustomed(習慣了)的意思。

work past tense 在 100% GDworld Life 小資夫婦流浪記 Facebook 的最佳解答
.
The experience of vagabondage becomes the nutrients throughout your life.
.
I met a old friend on a workplace, after few talks we made a appointment at night.
.
He had a great job at his study when we just met at senior high school, he always said “ I’m a genius” after he figured the problem out for others, and he wasn’t unpopular due to his arrogance, instead of becoming his feature.
.
He turned to humble and mature, a big change from the past, there’s must a story.
.
He worked in a high-tech industry as a engineer, seems like a good job, but he had a tense with his supervisors and colleagues, a lot of arguments gave him many fatigues, he quitted when he was 26, and planed to go aboard for rest and reflection.
.
Life is always unexpected, he extended the plan from year to years, when he returned to Taiwan was 30 years old.
.
“The experience of vagabondage becomes the nutrients throughout your life” will be the most significant sentence at this talk.
.
He always kept the excellent status from studying to work, but the first time he felt weak when he began to work in the unknown area, he just figured out the world is not just like all in his thinking, world is wide people is so small.
.
After the journey he learned a lot from every occasions he experienced, he becomes thankful and humble, abandons his arrogance, and molting.
.
Vagabondage is a process to talk with heart, there are many stories around the world and we are all the characters.

work past tense 在 Farang Dong English Facebook 的精選貼文
“Work Out = ออกกำลังกาย”
(อ่านว่า “เวิร์คเอ้าท์”)
เป็น verb เขียนแบบมีเว้นวรรคจ้า .. ถ้าเป็นคำนามก็เขียนติดกันได้เลย -> “Workout” เช่น Home workout (การออกกำลังกายที่บ้าน)
ปล. เอาจริงๆ เป็นverb ก็เขียนติดกันได้แหละ แต่ไม่ถูกต้องนัก เว้นวรรคซะหน่อยเผื่อ past tense เช่น “I worked out everyday last month” (เดือนที่แล้วฉันออกกำลังกายทุกวัน) ตามนี้จ้า 😘
