Yandex is Russia's biggest tech company
Founded in 1997 or 23 years ago by a businessman named Arkady Volozh

Yandex stands for Yet Another Indexer
Because the first business of the company is to make a search website.

In the global Search Engine market, Google is undoubtedly leading up to 92 % while Yandex has 5 % user with a 0.5 % share.

But within the Russian country
Yandex can rule the market share at 58 % to be regarded as Russian Google.

However, this is only part of the Yandex Kingdom because of 70 different types of internet-related businesses.

Let's see some interesting examples.

Yandex. Direct Online Advertising Business is like Google Ads. 61 % Russian market share.

Yandex. Market platform to buy products online like Amazon. Currently, there are 19 million users per month.

Even during the COVID-19 incident Russia was one of the severe outbreak centers, the company developed a free virus detection kit to the public.

However, sometimes business-related to a lot of data is often troubled because government concerns about the security of important data that could slip into the hands of dissent countries.

Yandex was recently ordered to restructure the company without a single shareholder over 10 % and limit total expat shareholders to 50 %

這次的武漢肺炎，不斷地讓我想到在2017年在意大利參與EDE(生態社群設計教育課程)

「真正的生態村」＿＿我指的不是商業自然觀光園區，而是一群人為了與環境與同伴更永續的生活所建構出來的生活模式。


當中不斷提及自給自足（self-sustainability）的重要性，當時還不能理解，為什麼我們需要自給自足？這個世界這麼方便，大家分工不是很好嗎？


現在的肺炎狀況，讓我不禁反思，在即將面離極端環境時代的我們（或者說正在面臨）自給自足顯然成為了必要的生存模式。



在Helena Norberg-Hodge這位語言學與人類學研究者的電影《快樂經濟》當中，她說道，當她第一次踏入拉達克時，所有的人都在笑，他們圍在一起織布、一起種植、在過程中歌唱。所有他們生活所需要的事物他們都能夠靠自己的雙手變出來。他們是她見過最富足與快樂的人。

多年後拉達克開放了，人們知道了手機、Nike，同一位她曾遇過的年輕人坐在路邊騎討「可憐可憐我吧，我是如此的貧窮。」


在上到世界經濟的部分，我印象深刻當時在歐洲，西班牙賣的是義大利的番茄、義大利卻賣西班牙的橘子。
因為這樣才可能創造「經濟」GDP才可能提升，才可能「富有」。

食物最營養與最美味的方式當然是離產地越近越好， 你想吃一顆來自你家後院的番茄，還是橫跨大西洋、印度洋高雄港口、用貨車送到你家附近的商店包在塑膠包裝裡的那顆。但我們卻對這一切如此的習以為常。

我們需要國際的交流，我們需要，但我們真正需要的交流是什麼？



我不知道台灣能撐多久，我也不知道當我們面臨最大的疫情時我們會創造出什麼樣的生活。但我知道現在最珍貴的會是土地。接下來的時代最重要的會是農夫、還有會自己蓋房子的、可以穿梭自然與自然和平共處的人，當然還有網路，透過這個媒介去傳遞真理。



前幾天看到了我義大利前劇團的公開信
全員隔離在家，除非要去藥局與超市
一切活動通通停止。


我在思考，那人們的錢從哪來？
沒有工作那怎麼生活？
那些本來工作給錢的一方的錢又去了哪？
當經濟活動停止，錢去了哪？從哪裡來？
誰能付錢邀劇團演出
邀請單位的錢又從哪來？
政府補助？企業贊助？
政府與企業的錢從哪來？
人民？
人民又從哪？
服務業？教育？餐飲？工廠？
最後發現一切的錢從土地來

從菜、樹、礦石、沙子、水、風、泥土
土地，一直都在等著，等著我們發現繞了一圈後
我們需要的還是土地。
我們究竟要旅行多久，才能發現我們在找的一直都在這裡？



今年十月，我預計與我的夥伴 Hema Wu在優人開設全台灣第一次的EDE，內容包含生態、世界觀、社群、經濟等不同面向。為期三週，全面討論人類生存的可能。

In October of this year, I expected to open the first EDE in Taiwan with my friend Hema Wu in U-theatre, covering different aspects of ecology, worldview, community, and economy. A three-week discussion of the possibilities of human survival.

The Tsukiji Market (築地市場 Tsukiji shijō), supervised by the Tokyo Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market (東京都中央卸売市場 Tōkyō-to Chūō Oroshiuri Shijō) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs, is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world and also one of the largest wholesale food markets of any kind.
The market is located in Tsukiji in central Tokyo, between the Sumida River and the upmarket Ginza shopping district. While the inner wholesale market has restricted access to visitors, the outer retail market, restaurants and associated restaurant supply stores remain a major tourist attraction for both domestic and overseas visitors.

The market handles more than 400 different types of seafood from cheap seaweed to the most expensive caviar, and from tiny sardines to 300 kg tuna and controversial whale species. Overall, more than 700,000 metric tons of seafood are handled every year at the three seafood markets in Tokyo, with a total value in excess of 600 billion yen (approximately 5.9 billion US dollars on November 24, 2013). The number of registered employees as of 25 January 2010 varies from 60,000 to 65,000, including wholesalers, accountants, auctioneers, company officials, and distributors.

The market opens most mornings (except Sundays, holidays and some Wednesdays) at 3:00 a.m. with the arrival of the products by ship, truck and plane from all over the world. Particularly impressive is the unloading of tons of frozen tuna. The auction houses (wholesalers known in Japanese as oroshi gyōsha) then estimate the value and prepare the incoming products for the auctions. The buyers (licensed to participate in the auctions) also inspect the fish to estimate which fish they would like to bid for and at which price.

The auctions start around 5:20 a.m. Bidding can only be done by licensed participants. These bidders include intermediate wholesalers (nakaoroshi gyōsha) who operate stalls in the marketplace and other licensed buyers who are agents for restaurants, food processing companies, and large retailers.

The auctions usually end around 10:00 a.m. Afterward, the purchased fish is either loaded onto trucks to be shipped to the next destination or on small carts and moved to the many shops inside the market. There the shop owners cut and prepare the products for retail. In case of large fish, for example tuna and swordfish, cutting and preparation is elaborate. Frozen tuna and swordfish are often cut with large band saws, and fresh tuna is carved with extremely long knives.

The Tsukiji fish market occupies valuable real estate close to the center of the city. Former Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara repeatedly called for moving the market to Toyosu, Koto. The long-anticipated move to the new market will take place in November 2016, in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

There is no shortage of luxury 5 Star hotels in modern Vietnam today. But, there aren't many in Mui Ne. In fact, Anantara Resort is the only 5 Star Hotel in Mui Ne located along the main tourist strip. This was simply the biggest room I've ever been in. This villa suite was incredible with two stories. I wished that was really my house. The breakfast was decent as well. There's also a private beach and pool right outside. I recommend this place if you come to Mui Ne and want to stay relatively central to the hustle and bustle of the tourist area.
