Why yes I do like modelling
I originally planned to talk about why I like my job and the positive factors of the industry, but I got a bit sidetracked lol

Asian diaspora is something that's very close to my heart and a topic that my friends and I have constantly discussed between ourselves for years. I think many of us have underlying, unresolved feelings - be it positive or negative - regarding our childhood and parents despite it not being a popular topic in mainstream media.

I hope it doesn't seem like I'm "airing out my (family's) laundry" or so by posting this; I just wish to share with my fellow first gens and Asians that your hardship and feelings are perfectly valid as personally, I felt that a lot of my teenage years were full of undirected anger.

This was meant to be the 3rd part in my backpacking Lombok adventure series however as I looked over the footage I found myself completely stuck in a creative roadblock with no idea on how to complete this video. So instead I decided to create a video all about my creative roadblock and how I had no idea how to finish this video.

Surprisingly creating this video in a more out of the box way totally fueled my creativity and I felt super motivated to create this film.

For those who are creators I am sure you have been faced with a creative roadblock. There can be such a pressure to be creative that when you can't find it, it can be a very frustrating or scary experience. What I have learnt from this short film on creativity is that sometimes approaching a creative problem from a completely different and fresh angle can help full your creative fuel.
