A Kingdom Prepared for you

“Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:34-36‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Just pause and think about this: God prepared the Kingdom for us—His children, from the foundation of the world.

He did not even make it for Himself. It was made beautiful, spacious, and glorious for us who have placed our faith in the name of Yahweh (before Jesus appeared)/Jesus (Yeshua).

“The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

The righteous are instructed to do good to fellow believers who are Jesus’ brothers and sisters.

These are the ways of doing good to fellow believers that Jesus mentioned:
1. Feeding the hungry
2. Giving a drink to the thirsty
3. Showing hospitality by providing lodging
4. Clothing those who have no means to obtain basic necessities
5. Visiting and praying for the sick
6. Visiting those who are in prison and taking the Gospel to them

Every believer is a member of the body of Christ, so if you do good to a believer, you are doing it to Christ Jesus.

“Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

We are taught to do good towards all men, but especially to fellow believers. When we do good as we have opportunity, we are doing it as unto the Lord.

“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

I understand how doing good can make you weary—when others are unappreciative or take advantage of you, despite you giving your best to do good. It can feel pointless at times because people can be so heartless.

However for you are doing good mainly as for the Lord Jesus, and not for men. The Lord will reward you, even if men’s intentions were impure.

We have a Kingdom prepared for us that is an unshakable inheritance. While we are here in this world, let us pray at all times, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and showcase God’s love by doing good, using the gifts and grace we have received. That is the best we can do while waiting for the Lord’s imminent return!

God Inside You

“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Take a moment now to close your eyes and place a hand on your chest to feel the heart beating.

Be conscious of how this mortal body is the house of the omnipotent, omnipresent Holy Spirit.

Somewhere inside you, the Spirit of God sits enthroned, and His life-giving power flows inside you like mighty rivers.

“Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.” (John‬ ‭7:37-39‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

In the past, men and women had to go the well to draw water for drinking.

There is a thirst for natural water, but the spirit also thirsts for God.

We were all created with a longing for eternity in our hearts.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

What we actually desire is eternal life, with the quality of life that God Himself lives by: total shalom peace. Just that many people cannot put a description to that deep longing they feel inside.

“Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation; neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”” (Luke‬ ‭17:20-21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

While man builds his kingdom with buildings and structures made of stones, metals, wood, and inanimate things, God builds His kingdom in His people.

Each believer is a living stone that makes up the ever-growing temple of God that rises to Heaven.

So much power, wisdom, and life is flowing inside your spirit. Read God’s word to know and believe what belongs to you in Christ. Just reach in and draw some out in Jesus’ name. Let the power that raised Jesus from the dead also affect your body and every part of your life!

Fruitfulness Through the Holy Spirit

“He said therefore, “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. He called ten servants of his, and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, ‘Conduct business until I come.’ But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to reign over us.’ “When he had come back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business. The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.’ “He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ “The second came, saying, ‘Your mina, Lord, has made five minas.’ “So he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’” (Luke‬ ‭19:12-19‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

It seems like with every passing day, we are so much nearer to the time of Jesus’ return.

Yet, the Lord does not want us to be idle just because we sense His impending return.

He wants us to bear good fruit through the Holy Spirit that we have received.

The world needs to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and experience the power of the Holy Spirit who resides in us.

Did you notice how each of the ten servants received the same amount of one mina?

The mina being the same, could represent the same Holy Spirit that every believer receives upon salvation.

The first servant’s mina gained ten more minas, whereas the second servant’s mina gained five more minas.

I like how the servants gave credit to the mina for the gain, and did not draw attention to themselves.

It is like wisely recognizing that fruitfulness is not by strength, not by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord.

The first servant’s reward was in proportion with the results he produced through the mina. For gaining ten minas, he received authority over ten cities. For gaining five minas, the second servant received authority over five cities.

All ten servants each received one mina initially, but their rewards were different, depending on their end results.

This shows that salvation is the same for all believers who place their faith in Jesus as Lord, but our eternal rewards will be measured based on our good works.

““Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.” (Revelation‬ ‭22:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Good works come in many forms, and generally anything done for Abba God and Jesus with faith, hope, and love, are considered good works.

The Lord Jesus is your Rewarder. Are you ready to received authority over cities and other spheres of His kingdom during the Millennium and beyond?

Heard this song for the first time when I was in a church in Amsterdam. Really touched by the lyrics, whether you're a believer or not I hope you can just simply enjoy the flow of this song. I'll link the original one down below.
Also don't think I did a 100% job on this cover but I just feel like this need to be done. We're not perfect but God always is and always will be holding on to us.
