Resepi Sangkaya & Roti Kukus | Pandan Custard with Steamed Bread Recipe

Bahan-Bahan
1/2 cwn air
5 helai daun pandan (dipotong kecil)
1/2 cwn air pandan
200 ml santan
3 sb susu pekat
1/4 cwn gula
1 sb tepung jagung
2 biji kuning telur
2 sb susu cair
Pewarna hijau
Garam
Roti putih (dipotong kecil)
Cara memasak
1. Kisarkan air dan daun pandan dahulu, kemudian tapiskan airnya.
2. Tuangkan air pandan, santan dan susu pekat ke dalam kuali dan panaskannya.
3. Kemudian, letakkan sedikit pewarna makanan hijau dan sedikit garam. Kacau rata.
4. Campurkan gula dan tepung jagung di dalam mangkuk.
5. Masukkan pula kuning telur ke dalam mangkuk dan gaulkan sehingga sebati.
6. Masukkan sedikit campuran pandan ke dalam campuran tepung jagung. Gaulkannya seketika.
7. Tuangkan campuran tadi ke dalam kuali dan masak sehingga pekat.
8. Apabila sudah pekat, tambahkan susu cair ke dalam campuran dan masak sehingga pekat.
9. Kukus roti selama 3 minit.
10. Sangkaya dan roti kukus siap untuk dihidangkan.

Ingredients
1/2 cup of water
5 strands of pandan leaves
1/2 cup of pandan juice
200 ml coconut milk
3 tbsp of condensed milk
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tbsp of corn starch
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp of evaporated milk
Green food coloring
Salt
White breads (cut into small pieces)
Cooking methods
1. Blend water and pandan leaves first and then sieve the water.
2. Pour pandan juice, coconut milk and condensed milk inside a pan and heat up.
3. Then, put in a bit of green food coloring and salt. Stir well.
4. Mix sugar and corn starch inside a bowl.
5. Add egg yolks into bowl and mix them well.
6. Add bit of pandan mixture into corn starch mixture. Mix for a while.
7. Pour the mixture into pan and cook until thicken.
8. Once it is thicken, add evaporated milk into the mixture and cook until thicken.
9. Steam breads for 3 minutes.
10. Pandan custard with steamed bread is ready to be served.
