Last Night, both goalkeepers redeemed themselves after making errors leading to goals in the 1️⃣-1️⃣ draw between Everton & Manchester United at Goodison Park.
In the first half, De Gea was too late in clearing the ball as his clearance rebounded off Calvert-Lewin into the net. Then, Pickford failed to get down quick enough to stop a low drive towards the near post by Bruno Fernandes.
However, in the second half, both custodians redeemed themselves towards the end of the match. Pickford made a near impossible save from close range by Odion Ighalo who thought he scored the winner. Then, De Gea made an impressive save with his feet from Gylfi Sigurdsson. This was significant for Pickford because 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿manager Garerth Southgate was watching from the stands.
