在電力電子的inverter指的大概就是DC to AC CONVERTER(換流器)
在inverter領域大概會以燈管的尺寸及數目來分為NB、MONITOR、TV三種
燈管指的是CCFL(冷陰極螢光燈管),很像一般家裡用的日光燈管,只是比較細
至於為什麼面板(panel)裡面要有CCFL,主要就是當作一個背光源光線再利用
偏光板把我們所要看到的畫面跟顏色所顯示出來,這是面板基本的顯示原理
為什麼inverter會是DC-AC的呢 因為當系統剛開機的時候經過power或adapter輸入
了DC的電源然後系統端開始送出各個訊號給所有需要開始動作的零組件,所以inverter
的輸入訊號就是DC直流電源,但是要點亮CCFL瞬間需要大約600~1500V的電壓,這時
就是必須利用inverter的升壓線路產生所需的高壓,這是inverter最基本的原理,
當然如果只是產生一個高壓把燈管點亮,這東西就沒什麼難度了,下面稍微介紹一下
inverter設計的一些performance
1.面板尺寸越大燈管數越多越難做
因為panel尺寸越大,為了讓整片panel的亮度可以平均,就必須增加燈管數量平均
放置在panel中,以現在NB的螢幕大概是12.1"、13.3"、14"、14.1"(寬螢幕)、15"、
15.4"(寬螢幕)、17",都是只用一根CCFL而已(有一些高階17"NB會用到兩燈),
MONITOR現在主流大概就是17"~22"會用到4~6燈,業界現在monitor的inverter都跟
power結合在一起,我們公司稱這東西為LIPS,也就是以前的液晶螢幕後面一定會有
一顆adapter,但是現在都是一條POWER CORE就直接插到MONITOR上,就是因為power
也做在裡面了,TV的話因為尺寸很大,所以燈管從16~24燈不等。
燈管數一多表示loading就越大,加上我們是利用諧振的原理產生交流高壓,所以干擾
就會較嚴重,加上因為panel裡可以放inverter的空間有限,如何在有限的機構
設計出符合客戶規格的東西就是一個很大的挑戰。
2.電流的balance
以一個變壓器輸出一個高壓驅動一根燈管是最容易的,但是多燈架構有時候考慮到機構
問題及cost,所以就必須要用到一推二、一推四、一推六(業界目前聽過最強的)
但是燈管一多,就會有平衡的問題,何謂燈管的平衡,就是因為每一根燈管可能
loading差異,線路零件的誤差,造成燈管電流不平均,可能會有一管是6mA,一管
是7mA,在inverter設計上管電流誤差到+/-0.5mA以上就算很大了,所以業界有很多的
solution在做這部份的改善,至於能不能用就又要看是哪家公司的專利,決定了你的
solution線路,要達到你想要的結果還是要像前面流氓提到的一個名詞,就是final
tune(我們在公司講都是念fi tune而已),tune到最好的值。
3.溫度問題
因為inverter有用到MOSFET、變壓器這些會產生高溫的東西,所以溫度是我們最頭痛的
一個問題,零件的選用、layout的方式都有可能是原因
其餘跟inverter有關的技術問題,有興趣了解的可以再問我,雖然我現在了解的還是最
簡單的NB單燈線路,其實慢慢的持續往多燈或是power去發展
