The new year will see vegan diet trending and hopefully a better understanding of finding the best diet type for healthier lifestyle. There's plenty of vegan treats and vegan dessert out there but most of it costs a bomb. One of most recently priced vegan dessert out there would be the Cendol!
Santan and palm sugar with grass jelly and ice....
It is one of the best representation of Malaysian vegan desert!!

I personally love this neighbourhood very much.
And @kwong_wah_ice_kacang is great whenever craving our shaved ice dessert.

@ Kwong Wah Ice Kacang

講到蘭桂坊，喜愛夜蒲的人一定對中環威靈頓街那家翠華有所認識，據說不少人在老蘭飲嘢之前或之後，都會去附近幾乎通宵營業的翠華醫肚。

久而久之，這家翠華有了一個花名叫「照妖鏡」，每當你在昏暗酒吧角落認識了新朋友，想清楚的「了解」對方，藉着光猛的燈光，便可以吃着宵夜，用眼睛望真一些，再用口傾傾下，盤算一下和對面的人有否下文。

最近的事件和持續偏高的作價可能令不少人不想再光顧翠華，今次分享一家餐廳正好位於中環翠華的對面，裝修也具七十年代冰室感覺，而且燈光同樣明亮猛烈，一於看看食物質素如何！

#羅漢齋麵 Vegetarian Fried Noodle in "Luo Han style" ($78)

茶餐廳常見的菜式，份量夠，而且足料，有木耳 、茄子、西蘭花、豆角、白菜、腐竹、紅蘿蔔等配料。麵底係硬和脆身的，羅漢齋炒得入味，加上些許醬汁，味道不錯，香口夠鑊氣。

If you like vegetarian food, try the Buddha's Delight/ Luo Han Zhai. The dish is traditionally consumed by Buddhist monks (who are vegetarians), but now it is a common dish available as a vegetarian or healthy (but oily) option in ChaChaanTeng. Luo Han Zhai on top of crispy fried noodles was cooked to be tender which tasted delicious and added a real punch to the noodles.

不是離家出走，是去基隆當寵物保姆。和 1 狗 2 貓共渡 12 × 24 = 288 小時的時光。
分享這 12 天我吃了什麼食物 ，包含常吃還有亂做的，以及與寵物生活的一些小片段。

原以為 12 天一眨眼就過去，但沒想到卻讓我感覺渡日如年，到 4 天的時候我就已經開始想家了 (苦笑) 我是喜歡動物的，但因為我對基隆不熟，加上手邊沒有食材庫和器具做東西，感覺好像身體的一部份被抽掉了。

失去時，才懂得擁有的美好。
學惜更珍惜當下擁有的一切。

MISO SOUP WITH CORNS 玉米味噌湯

1/4 onion, chopped 洋蔥
1/2 small carrot, chopped 紅蘿蔔,
1 corn, chop into chunks 玉米
1-2 Tbsp miso paste 味噌
water to mix and cover the ingredients 水, 混合+蓋過食材

PS. I throw in some chopped cabbage and enoki mushrooms while reheating.
再煮熱的時候，我加了一些高麗菜和菇菇。

STEW APPLE OVERNIGHT OARS 燉煮蘋果隔燕燕麥粥

1 small apple, half cubed, half blended with water 小顆蘋果, 一半切丁, 一半加水打
1 Tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar (if you have) 楓糖漿或椰糖
cinnamon (none or as much as you like) 肉桂粉
4 heaping Tbsp rolled oats 傳統燕麥片
water 水 適量
1 Tbsp almond butter 杏仁醬
