MOFA recently commissioned Discovery頻道 to produce new episodes of the ‘Taiwan Revealed’ series, portraying how new technology and research in #Taiwan has led to breakthroughs across a range of fields from #SmartAgriculture, with drones able to measure plant health, to an Aqualink, which provides #aquaculture workers with pH and temperature data direct to their phones, a bio-degradation technology capable of turning #FoodWaste into #organic fertilizer in just 3 hours, as well as #biomedical tech capable of using #AI diagnosis to detect electrolyte imbalances from real-time EKG data, instead of the usual hour taken to test with traditional methods, reducing the risk of a cardiac emergency, the use of stem cells to treat stroke victims, technology that cuts filtration time for leukocytes during blood transfusion and mini portable #COVID19 PCR tests.
