今晚，我想來首 Earth, Wind & Fire 的〈September〉。
去年日本紀念日協會為了紀念 Earth, Wind & Fire 成軍 50 週年，特別根據歌詞將 9 月 21 日這天訂為「September 之日」，紀念這組經典神團。
為什麼是 9 月 21 日，和主唱 Maurice White 一起為這首作品填詞的 Allee Willis 每一次問都被用「唱起來很順」這類的答案敷衍，一直到 2016 年 Maurice White 過世後，他才從 Maurice White 妻子 Marilyn 口中得到答案，原來 1978 年的 9 月 21 日最初是他們兒子 Kahbran White 的預產期，所以 Maurice White 才偷偷把這個日期寫進歌詞裡，不過 Kahbran White 最後在 8 月就提早出生。
