【同樂運動會延至2023年舉行　大會斥有議員試圖將活動政治化】

第11屆香港同樂運動會籌委會宣佈，原定於2022年11月舉行的同樂運動會，將會延至2023年11月舉行。籌委會將在與其商討後，儘快公佈在2023年舉行的確實日期。

聲明指，鑑於病毒變種情況仍然變幻莫測，全球及香港的旅遊限制持續變化，令海外參加者難以安排來港，故決定延期舉行同樂運動會。

同樂運動會聯席主席Dennis Philipse又指，近日有少數立法會議員試圖將同樂運動會政治化，令媒體失焦，忽略同樂運動會的真正使命 ── 提倡全民參與和「在多元中團結」的精神。他直言不諱反共融的聲音雖屬少數，但足以激發300位義工的決心，並得到廣大市民、商界、甚至其他議員的大力支持。

Hong Kong’s leader, Carrie Lam, said she did not condone certain remarks of the upcoming 2022 Gay Games. Without naming names, Lam added that some individuals of the Legislative Council had "become a bit emotional" in expressing themselves.
