So, u don’t need to carry the wine back and forth & they won’t charge u like restaurant’s normal mark up by paying the retail wine shop price, which is value for money! And the food quality is good & delicate, as it is helmed by Chef Aven Lau, who has worked in 3-star Michelin Odette & 1-star Michelin Belon restaurants before. ช่วงนี้ ไม่ค่อยได้แนะนำร้านอาหารในสิงคโปร์ 🇸🇬 เท่าไหร่
เพราะยังไม่ค่อยเจอร้านไหนโดนๆ 😆

อีกอย่าง คือ ยังไม่ได้ออกตระเวณกินเท่าไหร่ด้วย
เพราะยังไม่ค่อยไว้ใจสถานการณ์โควิดที่นี่

ล่าสุด มี hawker centre แถว Bukit Merah
ติดเชื้อกันเป็นคลัสเตอร์ใหญ่มากกกก น่าจะใหญ่ที่สุดแล้ว คือ ติดกันหลายสิบคนเลย น่าจะเกือบร้อยแล้ว และยังลามไปพื้นที่ใกล้เคียงด้วย เช่น Tiong Bahru ฯลฯ

จริงๆ ก็อยู่ไม่ไกลจากย่านที่โควิดกำลังระบาดตอนนี้

แต่ยังไงก็ต้องกิน 😆 เพราะสั่งไปตั้งแต่เดือนที่แล้ว
คือ ที่ร้านไม่รับ walk-in ต้องสั่งล่วงหน้าเท่านั้น และกล่องนี้รอคิวมา 1 เดือนเต็ม
แต่ถ้าใครสั่งวันนี้ คิวยาวไปถึงเดือนสิงหาแล้ว

Dim sums in this 1 star Michelin restaurant cost HKD$38 only! What do we think 👇🏻
Yat Tung Heen has been offering this HKD$38 since last year and I finally went to the restaurant last week. I booked the restaurant a week in advance and went there at 11am. The time slot for each session is 1.5 hour so it could be quite rush when compared to typical morning family Yum Cha that you also spend some time reading newspaper and chat with your family members. But it is a very spacious and relaxing place for dim sums.
2 of us went there and have ordered 4 kinds of dim sums. The sizes of dim sums are smaller than those you find in other Chinese restaurants. All are of bite-size. For the minced beef dumpling, I prefer one of bigger size.
The restaurant is famous for its Barbecue pork (Char Siu). At the time we wanted to order it, we found that we have already ordered Char Siu Rice Rolls and Char Siu bun, so we will leave it to next time.
Half of the dim sums on the menu cost HKD$38 and half of them costs HKD$48. There are 3 deluxe selections that cost HKD$68 per piece, including Steamed Fresh Lobster dumplings 龍蝦餃皇,Baked Chicken Puff Pastry with Whole Abalone 原隻鮑魚雞粒酥 and Steamed seafood dumpling in soup with Birdnest and Conpoy 燕窩瑤柱海皇灌湯餃
What did we order? (All are HKD$38)
- Barbecue pork bun 叉燒包
- Barbecue pork rice roll 叉燒腸 (forgot to take a photo of it, the last photo is our only rice roll photo 🌝)
- Shrimp dumplings (Har Gow) 蝦餃
- Minced beef dumplings 牛肉球
How much did we spend? HKD$228 for 2 (including service charge and tea & sauce 茶芥)
Taste: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

After getting its Michelin star back in January, The Chairman claimed the top spot for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 – a first for a Hong Kong restaurant – just two months later. Tucked away in a small side road at the back of the bustling Central district, the modern classic Cantonese eatery is owned by Danny Yip, a low-key veteran restaurateur who has managed to stay out of the limelight until recent years. “Food is always our centre of attention. Because whenever we struggle to take care of everything else, we always consider: how much time can we actually spend in the kitchen during the year? We want to put all our energy on our food, especially during the first few years,” Yip says.
Little Meg, a top food influencer with over 159,000 followers on Instagram and one of the Tokyo guides featured in Netflix’s foodie docuseries “Ugly Delicious”, is one of the most frequent regulars of The Chairman. She has dined at the small restaurant at least 37 times within nine months since June last year. “Chinese cuisine used to lack certain finesse, but The Chairman has successfully filled the gaps over the past decade. For instance, Chinese dishes were often cooked with stock or a lot of sauces, but The Chairman decided not to go down the same route. They establish their own flavors with their own techniques,” Little Meg says.

- Street food này tui tính không quay đâu, kiếm 1 só ngồi ăn tô cháo lòng hôm nữa đó, vẫn bị anti fan phát hiện nên tui ghét tui review luôn haha
- Công nhận ở Đài Bắc cái street food nào nó cũng to chà bá, đi mỏi giò luôn đó, quá trời đồ ăn, tui đi đại thì thấy 1 con heo quay nằm nổi bật giữa đường, mò mò đến mua mới biết là 2 chị VN bán, hèn gì nhìn con heo nó quen quen haha, đúng là đặc sản VN mình cái biết liền, quá nổi bật =))
- 10h đêm tui mới đi ăn nhà hàng 1 sao Michelin tại Đài Bắc, món nổi tiếng là Mì bắp bò, đi ăn giờ này cho khỏi xếp hàng với chờ đợi, tui mệt mỏi với mấy quán nổi tiếng lắm :P
- Đi vào nhà hàng thì thấy quản lý là người Đài nên tui cứ nghĩ là người Đài mới làm trong quán 1 sao Michelin này, đâu dễ để nhà hàng được cấp 1 sao đâu, ai ngờ từ phục vụ đến phụ bếp đều là sinh viên Việt Nam mình đi làm thêm không các bạn :D
- Về món mì bắp bò thì nó khá dễ ăn, nước lèo có hương thơm của phở VN, vị thì lai lai với bún bò, nói chung không biết ông chủ nhà hàng này có qua VN ăn phở bò với bún bò không mà tìm ra công thức này haha
- Phần mì thì mình ăn thấy không hợp lắm, cọng to, dày, dài, dai, nếu ăn với mì gói hay bún của VN chắc ngon hơn đó :D
- Tính ra 1 tô lớn có 200k là bạn đã có thể thưởng thức món ăn trong nhà hàng đạt 1 sao Michelin rồi, quá rẻ :P
- Nhìn chung là nước lèo + bắp bò + gân bò ngon, các bạn đến Đài bắc nhớ thử, không uổng tiền đâu ^^!
- Quán mở đến tận 3 4h sáng nên cứ yên tâm qua giờ nào cũng được, mà qua trễ thì thường hết sách bò, món đặc sản nhiều người khoái ăn :P
- Trong video là mình ăn streetfood khá no rồi mới qua review nhà hàng nên vừa buồn ngủ vừa no ăn không nổi haha
- Video ăn uống ngập mặt kết thúc Đài Bắc, mấy ông ở Đài Nam, Đài Trung...có gì vui không để tui xuống review luôn rồi về haha
- Đăng kí kênh và bật thong báo để đón xem video mới nhất nha :P
