9th Dec 2012 - The day Josh & I got married. Back then, other than in Chinese restaurants, this is the only other meaning and way of "serving tea" to our parents 😂 It's the customary part of Chinese wedding traditions, where new couple kneel and serve tea to the seniors from both sides ☺️
If i were to "serve modern tea" to my dad today i'd be telling him he was so stiff and anxious when he walked me in during my first march-in that my arm let him giap until almost ohr-chair-gek-hui 😂
Cannot believe it's been just 6 years. It honestly felt like a long time, and so much had changed.
Thank you Josh for marrying me and then giving me the cute kids i have now, one who tells me almost everyday "Mama, your belly nork fag fag,,you jars prackneng ma, afger ge baby come out your belly wer be so skinny arayghee" and one other who JUST vomited on herself and me at 3am and after cleaning her up, Josh ends up having to sleep on vomit spot while i take his spot 🙂😂 I guess this is marriage life and parenthood for us for at least another 2-3 years before didi becomes more manageable 😌
