🌸4/14 Let’s party in Jellyfish Lake!

Of all the marine lakes in Palau, Jellyfish Lake serves as the most extraordinary natural wonder which attracts tourists from all over the world to witness this spectacle every year. With a short walk through the hiking trail and snorkeling gears in hand , both adults and children can have the ultimate swimming experience with millions of golden jellyfish.

Jellyfish Lake used to be connected to the ocean through tunnels and fissures；However, it gradually become isolated from the open sea owing to tectonic plate movement. Being separated from the sea, the lack of natural predators makes the jellyfish evolve into non-venomous creatures.

As most species of jellyfish in the sea can inject lethal toxins into their prey by using tentacles with lots of stinging cells and jeopardize the life of swimmers, it's self-explanatory that jellyfish lake tour can gain such great popularity among travelers.

This is what I have learnt from this trip,
Now it comes to the end and here is short summary for the 2nd half experiencing Bolivia, Peru and a little of Brazil.

คือสิ่งที่ได้เรียนรู้จากการเดินทางครั้งนี้
30 วันผ่านไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ทุกการเดินทางมีตอนจบ ขอเล่าสรุปประสบการณ์ครึ่งหลังในประเทศโบลิเวียและเปรู (มีบราซิลด้วยนิดหน่อย) ให้ฟังคร่าวๆค่ะ

1. Food is getting more tasty and spicy from the South to the North; Argentina - Chile - Bolivia - Peru. Peruvian taste is quite similar to Thai. Surprisingly, the best good of the trip was during the Inca trail trekking like we were in 5 stars restaurant not in the forest. อาหารอร่อยและมีจัดจ้านขึ้นเรื่อยจากใต้ขึ้นเหนือ อาหารเปรูน่าจะถูกปากคนไทยมากที่สุด เพราะมีความเค็ม เผ็ด เปรี้ยว น้องๆอาหารไทยเลย แต่ที่ไม่คาดคิดมาก่อน อาหารที่อร่อยที่สุดของทริปนี้คือระหว่างแคมปิ้งในป่า อาหารอลังการยังกับอยู่ร้านอาหารห้าดาว

2. Bolivia is hidden gem of the world, this tiny country is amazing with beautiful various landscapes, wild animals and cultures. Desert adventure/ Uyuni tour is unforgettable. ประเทศเล็กๆอย่างโบลิเวียมีความงดงามซ่อนอยู่มากมาย เป็นอัญมนีของโลกที่หลายคนอาจไม่เคยรู้มาก่อน ทั้งธรรมชาติที่หลากหลายสวยงาม สัตว์ป่ามากมาย และวัฒนธรรมที่น่าสนใจ การผจญภัยในดินแดนทะเลทรายและทะเลเกลือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่สุดแสนประทับใจและลืมไม่ลง

3. Inca trail trekking is the journey of a lifetime, it was remarkable and great adventure experience. It wasn't the most difficult trek I have ever done but it is the one I love the most. It was not because of reaching the Machu Picchu at the end but because of its various natures, the history of Inca, the archeological sites,luxury camping and 3 passes to conquer. I would suggest to do it once of your life. It couldn't be completed without our super guides, super porters, super chef and super hikers, thank you very much. การเทรคกิ้งบนเส่นทางอินคา เป็นการเดินทางที่น่าจดจำที่สุดของชีวิต ไม่ได้เป็นการเดินเขาที่ยากที่สุด แต่เป็นเส้นทางที่ชอบที่สุดตั้งแต่เคยเดินเขามาทั้งชีวิต สุดท้ายมันไม่ใช่เพราะการมีมาชูปิกชูเป็นจุดหมายปลายทาง แต่มันคือแระสบการณ์ระหว่างทางต่างหาก ทั้งการพิชิตยอดเขา 3 ลูก ความหลากหลายของธรรมชาติ ประวัติศาสตร์และการตามรอยอาณาจักรอินคาที่เคยรุ่งโรจน์ การแคมปิ้งระดับห้าดาว การเดินทางครั้งนี้จะไม่สมบูรณ์แบบหรือสำเร็จได้ถ้าขาดไกด์มืออาชีพ พอตเตอร์ผู้ทำงานหนัก เชฟฝีมือดี และนักเดินเขาผู้แชร์ประสบการณ์และเป็นกำลังใจให้กันและกันทุกคน ขอบคุณมากๆจริงๆ

4. The most touristy places: Puno and Machu Picchu. Everything was well set in Puno, especially at Uros floating island but that might be the best way to compromise between local lives and visiting tourists. Machu Picchu was very crowded, understandable that everyone in the world wants to visit this magical place. If I was visiting by bus/train not the trek, I don't think I will enjoy it that much. So I am really convinced to go there by foot, cheers!. ทัวร์เกาะลอยน้ำอูรอสมีการจัดทุกอย่างไว้ให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้เห็นและได้สัมผัส ยากมากที่เราจะเดินทางหรือเปิดประสบการณ์ด้วยตัวเอง แต่นั่นอาจจะเป็นวิธีที่ดีที่สุดในการควบคุมและทำให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมของคนท้องถิ่น โดยไม่เข้าไปทำลายวิถีชีวิตของพวกเขา ากจนเกินไป ส่วนที่มาชูปิกชูนั้น นักท่องเที่ยวแออัดล้นหลามมาก ซึ่งเข้าใจได้ว่าใครๆก็อยากมาเยือนสถานที่มหัศจรรย์แห่งนี้ แอบคิดว่าถ้าเราไม่ได้เทรคมา แต่นั่งรถบัสหรือรถไฟมาแบบที่คนส่วนใหญ่ทำกัน เราคงไม่รู้สึกประทับใจกับมาชูปิกชูเท่านี้ เพราะฉะนั้นเดินไปเถอะค่ะ แค่เดินเขา 4 วันเอ๊ง

5. The missed places: Cusco and surrounding area. Cusco is so beautiful beyond expectation and its surrounding areas have many more to explore. It was too short really I have to go back to Peru, love this country very much. เมืองกุสโก เป็นเมืองที่สวยและน่าสนใจมาก สวยเกินความคาดหมาย ที่สำคัญแถวนั้นๆมีอะไรให้ทำ มีอะไรให้ดูเยอะมาก เวลาน้อยไปจริงๆ (มัวเสียเวลากับการเปลี่ยนที่พักเพราะมีปัญหาแบะไฟลท์ดีเลย์ที่ลิมาด้วย) ยังไงคิดว่าต้องกลับไปที่นี่อีก ชอบเปรูมากมาย

6. Best located city: Rio de Janairo/ Brazil; great mountains, beautiful beaches and lakes. The beaches in Thailand are more beautiful of cause but here is very interesting to see people's activities on the beaches; bikinis, six-packs, volleyball, surfing etc. รู้สึกอิจฉาเมืองริโอเป็นเมืองที่ทำเลดีมากๆ มีทั้งชายหาด ทะเลสาบ และภูเขาสวยรูปร่างแปลกตา อาจจะสวยสู้ทะเลและชายหาดบ้านเราไม่ได้ แต่การนั่งมองผู้คนทำกิจกรรมบนหาดมันเพลิดเพลินมาก บิกินี่เอย ซิคแพคเอย แต่ละคนบัละฮึ้มวอลเลย์บอลชายหาด คนเล่นเซิร์ฟ มันเจริญตาเจริญใจมาก

7. Airport and local transport experiences in Bolivia and Peru were quite mess without proper system but fun. Brazil is the best and better systematic, however it took almost 30mins for them to figure out that I don't need Swiss visa as German residence card holder. At the end the guy said "you are beautiful, we just don't want you to leave", whatta Brazilian joke 😁ประสบการณ์เดินทางที่สนามบินและรถประจำทางในโบลิเวียและเปรูค่อนข้างวุ่นวายสับสน แต่ก็สนุกดี ที่บราซิลมีความสะดวกและเป็นระบบมากที่สุด แต่ตอนเช็คอินก่อนเดินทางกลับก็มีเรื่องจนได้ ใช้เวลากว่าครึ่งชั่วโมงกว่าเค้าจะเข้าใจว่าเราไม่ต้องใช้วีซ่าสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ถ้าเราบัตรว่าอาศัยอยู่ในเยอรมนี สุดท้ายโดนพนักงานหนุ่มบราซิลหยอดขนมจีบว่า "เพราะยูสวยเหลือเกิน พวกเราจึงไม่อยากให้ยูจากไป" แหมมม เกือบไม่ได้กลับบ้านแล้วสิ

A month in South America was too short and visiting 4-5 countries was too crazy. I met many travelers who travel 3-6 months or a year, that's really inspiring me. I would rate this as my survey trip just to get a feeling and will be back next time to discover each country in detail. However I really love it and do not regret on what I invested for.

เวลาหนึ่งเดือนมันสั้นเกินไปสำหรับการเดินทางในทวีปอเมริกาใต้ และการไปเยือน 4-5 ประเทศในเวลาเท่านี้มันบ้ามาก ได้เจอนักเดินทางมากมายที่ใช้เวลา 3-6 เดือนอย่างน้อย หรือบางคนก็เป็นปีกันเลย อยากลองทำแบบนั้นบ้างสักครั้ง ขอนับทริปนี้เป็นทริปสำรวจ แค่ได้ทำความรู้จักกันคร่าวๆว่าอเมริกาใต้เป็นยังไง ดีกว่าที่คิด และไม่ได้น่ากลัวอย่างที่เคยคิด หลงรักที่นี่มากๆจะกลับมาอีกแน่นอน คราวหน้าอยากเที่ยวแบบเจาะลึกแต่ละประเทศเลย ถึงแม้มันจะสั้นและลงทุนไปมากกับทริปนี้ แต่ไม่รู้สึกเสียดายเลย การเดินทางคือการลงทุนที่คุ้มค่าและทำให้รู้สึกว่าเรารวย(ความรู้และประสบการณ์)ขึ้น จริงๆค่ะ

UPDATE: Most of the area is now off-limits for swimming because it got so popular with tourists. We are not "contaminating" the lake. The lakes are full of birds crapping in it all year. Not to mention the heavy equipment/people who wade in to harvest it.

Hey guys, welcome back to a new travel vlog - where I take you to Bhopal(MP) my birth place.
It was a road trip that took us approx 12 hours to reach the main city and I stayed at my Uncle’s house so I had everything planned and places I wanted to show Nia.
Bhopal is situated on hills, surrounded by lakes and has a beautiful weather and there are a few places I feel you must visit if you happen to travel there anytime.
1. Upper Lake - a beautiful scenic spot for boating and hanging out with your friends and family.
2. Sair Sapata - a small spot to just sit and relax.
3. Boat club - it’s meant for boating, eating street delicacies and watching the sunset.
4. Van Vihar National park - a beautiful habitat for animals and a must visit if you’re with kids or love wildlife and nature like me.
5. New Market - for all your shopping needs.
6. Top’n’Town - the most famous ice cream brand in Bhopal serving yummy desserts.
7. Tribal Museum- for those interested in history.

Everyone has different choices I am listing the ones I like and feel are a must visit during your stay in Bhopal.
