Even though I was born and bred in the UK, I am still proud of my parents' birth country - MALAYSIA! I've always felt a strong connection to my roots, and from the very first time I set foot on its soil, I've experienced things I never would have experienced anywhere else!

When I was little, I used to think that there was no place better than England, and the mere thought of travelling abroad made me shiver! But my trip to Malaysia proved me wrong, and I've never been more proud of my Malaysian background! My first book, 'My New Pair of Eyes', documents all of Malaysia's glory.

'My New Pair of Eyes' is not just a book...I wrote #MNPOE as a gift to Malaysia, and to show my appreciation for my roots. Through my humble writing, I wish to convey how proud I am of my heritage! My journey was truly unforgettable, and I just had to share how brilliant the culture, years-old traditions and kind, welcoming people were!

#MNPOE is not just a recount of my time in Malaysia; it's the story of my unforgettable journey around a beautiful country with the power to change the way a little boy who didn't even want to go to heaven looked at the world forever! It's my homage to the amazing culture of the country and the people in it!

I don't like to think of Malaysia as just one big chunk of land...I think of it more like a combination of different 'kingdoms', each one beautifully diverse and unique, with its own ethnicities, dialect, culture, historical background and cuisine! I've only explored a tiny part of Malaysia, but I'll definitely be back for more!

In honour of 62 years of #MERDEKA, I pray not only for the prosperity of Malaysia and Malaysians, but for the preservation - and CELEBRATION - of its heritage, because to me, that's something that all Malaysians should definitely be proud of, and something we should all hold on to before it is lost forever!

ที่เค้าว่ามัลดีฟส์เป็นเกาะสวรรค์นั้นเป็นเรื่องจริง หากแต่จะเป็นสวรรค์ชั้นไหนอยู่ที่เลือกรีสอร์ท ทุกเกาะต่างก็มีวิวเป็นน้ำทะเลสีฟ้าสลับน้ำเงินเหมือนภาพวาดไม่ต่างก้น แต่จะสวยกว่านั้นอยู่ที่ดีไซน์ของที่พักว่าจะออกแบบมาให้เก๋ไก๋ขนาดไหน

แต่ถ้าพูดถึง Anantara Kihavah แล้ว ต้องบอกว่าอยู่บนสวรรค์ชั้นเจ็ดอย่างแท้จริง แพทติดใจภาพอ่างอาบน้ำพื้นใส open air มองไปเห็นสระน้ำและทะเลแบบในภาพปก บวกกับภาพร้านอาหารใต้ทะเลเหมือนได้ลงไปกินข้าวในบ้านเงือกน้อยแอเรียล แค่นี้ก็ตัดสินใจเลือกที่พักไม่ยากเลย

แพทมาทริปนี้กับคุณแม่และพี่สาว การมาทริปสาวๆแบบนี้มีความสนุกตรงนี้ไม่มีใครปรามกัน จะเปลี่ยนชุดวันละกี่ชุดก็ได้ ถ่ายรูปเป็นร้อยรูปจนกว่าจะขายาว เอวเอส ก็ไม่มีใครรำคาญกัน เพราะฉะนั้นรีวิวนี้ชุดจะเยอะๆหน่อยนะ 5555

ที่ Anantara Kihavah นอกจากจะเหมาะกับคู่รักมา honeymoon แล้ว หลังจากเข้าพักก็พบว่า เหมาะกับคนโสดด้วย จริงๆนะ ไม่ได้พูดเล่น พนักงานที่นี่ต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นมาก เวลาทานอาหารทั้งเชฟทั้งพนักงานต่างก็มาชวนคุยเป็นเพื่อนไม่เคยปล่อยให้เหงา อีกทั้งกิจกรรมยังมากมายเล่นได้ไม่มีเบื่อ

นอกจากกิจกรรมจะเยอะแล้วสิ่งหนึ่งที่สำคัญมากๆคือร้านอาหาร ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งนึงที่แพทประทับใจของที่นี่คือความหลากหลาย มีทั้งหมดตั้ง 7 ห้องอาหารต่างสไตล์กันออกไป และข่าวดีมีอาหารไทยด้วยนะ เย้ !!

สำหรับแพทแล้วการเข้าพักที่ Anantara Kihavah ประทับใจมากๆ แม้จะเป็นแค่ช่วงเวลาสั้นๆสามวันสองคืน แต่ก็กลับมาแบบได้ชาร์จพลังชีวิตเต็มเปี่ยม
What they say is Maldives is an island of paradise. It's true. Which floor is the resort's choice. Every island has a view of the sea. Blue. Switching blue like painting. Not different but more beautiful. It's up to the design of the place. How chic is designed to be.

But if you talk about Anantara Kihavah, you must say that it's truly in seventh floor heaven. Pat is impressed with the bathtub, open air open air. Look at the pool and sea as well as the photo of the restaurant under the sea. It's like having a meal in the little mermaid house. Ariel decided that It's not difficult to choose accommodation.

Pat came this trip with mom and sister. Girls trip like this is fun. Nobody wants to fight. Hundreds of dresses per day. Until legs are long legs, WaistS. No one bothers each other because of it. This review is a lot of dresses. Haha.

Both chefs and staff are inviting me to chat with friends. I never leave it alone. There are plenty of events. I can play without being bored.

In addition to many activities, one thing that is very important is the restaurant. One thing that Pat impresses here is the variety. There are 7 restaurants, different styles and good news. There are Thai food too. Yay!!

Hi! I'm Eden Kai aka Yusuke from Netflix Terrace House Aloha State. Hope you enjoy this video about "My First Trip to LA" part 3. In this video, some behind the scenes when I collaborated with famous YouTuber Andrew Fung of the Fung Bros and Japanese actress Narisa Suzuki in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles! Narisa is also friends with one of the Terrace House Aloha State castmates, too! Hint: his nickname is the "guilty samurai", lol... ;) I had an awesome time and we ate lots of delicious food!
Then, a short clip of me playing "She Saw Me Dance" at the JACCC Plaza for the 77th Nisei Week Festival 2017. Also, met the beautiful 2017 Nisei Week Royal Court Princesses at the Aratani Theater. They had a special request for me to play "Monogatari"... I had so much fun with an impromptu performance at the Aratani Theater. The acoustics and sound were amazing there! Glad I had my ukulele with me! :-)

ABOUT EDEN KAI:
With millions of fans around the world, Eden Kai has earned his reputation as being a ukulele and guitar virtuoso, a Pop/R&B vocalist, and an accomplished actor. In addition to working on his own music, Eden has collaborated with some of the world’s top artists and producers, including EXILE and Dream. One of his compositions was used to create “Anuenue,” a hit J-Pop single recorded and released by Dance Earth Party, which landed at #11 on the Oricon Music Charts in Japan.

Eden also recognizes the importance of using his music to help others. He has hosted several ukulele workshops in Honolulu and Japan, been the featured performer at the Waikiki Spam Jam, benefiting the largest non-profit in Hawaii that feeds the needy, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival from which proceeds helped local children in the community. Eden has donated proceeds from some of his songs to assist humanitarian causes, including the support of a health center in Haiti and the purchase of educational materials for children in Bangladesh.

He has since gone on to make additional appearances on Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020, appeared on Shiro to Kiiro on Amazon Prime and has performed at the Fuji Rock Festival (the largest outdoor music festival in Japan), Nisei Week Festival in Little Tokyo, OC Japan Fair and ANA Honolulu Music Week in Waikiki. Eden’s accomplishments have earned him interviews by NBC News and The Yomiuri Shinbun (the world’s most circulated newspaper).

His most recent album, Home Sweet Home, released in 2018 and was recorded in Tokyo, Japan, produced by his music label in Japan Victor Entertainment. Three tracks from that album were featured in episodes of Netflix Japan’s Terrace House during the show’s Opening New Doors and Tokyo 2019-2020 seasons. The series also featured Eden’s instrumental compositions of “Touch the Sky” and “Feel the Earth.” “Monogatari” was his debut pop vocal single, which he wrote and performed on the show. That music, as well as Eden’s past album releases, can be heard on all major streaming services and is available for purchase on Eden’s official website, www.EdenKai.com.

In addition to working on his own music, Eden has collaborated with some of the world’s top artists and producers, including EXILE and Dream. One of his compositions was used to create “Anuenue,” a hit J-Pop single recorded and released by Dance Earth Party, which landed at #11 on the Oricon Music Charts in Japan.

Eden also recognizes the importance of using his music to help others. He has hosted several ukulele workshops in Honolulu and Japan, been the featured performer at the Waikiki Spam Jam, benefiting the largest non-profit in Hawaii that feeds the needy, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival from which proceeds helped local children in the community. Eden has donated proceeds from some of his songs to assist humanitarian causes, including the support of a health center in Haiti and the purchase of educational materials for children in Bangladesh.
