LÒNG TÔN KÍNH PHẬT VÔ BIÊN
(Boundless homage to Buddha - English version below)

ENGLISH VERSION
“ … Every day, we should kneel in front of Buddha with our most reverence for Him. If we can do so, we would be able to have more blessings. The more blessings we have, the less bad karma for us would be. We would have committed sins in our past lives, and we could only lessen our bad karma, only when we pay homage to Buddha and kneel in front of Buddha every day.
And when we are blessed, our life would become more pleasant. We would be more knowledgeable to be aware of our mistakes, errors as well as the wrong and the right. With that intelligence, we would be able to know what is the right thing to do. We would be respected by others. Our advice for others would be appreciated. We could also easily control our mind and emotion. Regardless of what we do, we would also head towards Buddha to practice Dharma. Once we have the unequivocally reverence for Buddha, no evil spirits would be able to influence us. Therefore, our reverence for Buddha would be the most important factor in helping us strengthen our minds and improve our cultivation.
Please remember that: Having boundless homage for Buddha is the most basic but important obligation in cultivation. We must do everything in our power to understand Buddhism principles and have reverence for Buddha boundlessly and infinitely.
Only when we achieve that level of understanding about Buddha and having the boundless homage for Him.
And only when we achieve the above, we would be able to love all beings, love our country unconditionally and infinitely
Namo Shakyamuni Buddha! …”

This painting is one of my oil pastel series that i did before 2010. Will try to post some of my older stuff for those who never seen any of my old works. Till then.. Stay safe people..
Title : Journey to Happy Land
Medium : Oil Pastel on paper
Size: A2
2009
Current owner : @richard simon
Everyone have their own version of happy land. This thought or emotion happens randomly. It could be because of time, certain situation, surrounding environment or “just because”. So they do a journey to a certain goal that they set.
The green character depicted without arms is a representation of people that feels, think that they are missing something in their life. (It can be anything, nothing in specific). Most of the time they looking for that feeling of joy, happiness, achievement or a sense of fulfillment. During this time is where the doubt, excitement, paranoid kicks in and that's why he’s walk with a slouch with eyes open.
The smiling creatures or monsters on the sides is a representation of people around. Some will give encouragement or support, some will say good things in front and bad things at the back. But most of the time they will just look and thats about it. Your journey is their entertainment.
The road or path is colored in yellow is an adaptation of “the yellow brick road from the wizard of oz” that brings a meaning the road to success or happiness..
The jack in a box “Swindler, cheater” is a representation of the challenges that usually happen along the way, when a person is in search of their happy land.
This whole painting are basically everyone’s journey in life. You can’t see the goal here because (its a personal “something” to everyone, not all of us have the same happyland” but the “journey” that’s the most important part of life.

Bahasa pasar/ sembarang sabah.
Tu jalan warna kuning kana guna reference “the yellow brick road “jalan batu warna kuning” dalam wayang wizzard of oz). Maksud ni ayat jalan kejayaan atau kegembiraan.
Di depan tu jalan ada clown dalam kotak “Jack in a box”. Maksud jack in a box ni orang yang menipu.

DECODING JEALOUSY
Jealousy isn’t as bad of an emotion that it seems to be. Feeling jealous doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.
In my coaching experience, it is often an accurate signpost to your deep desire.
I used to have a hard time feeling jealous of another female entrepreneur. She was beautiful, young, successful, and famous. Her organisation has touched hundreds of thousands lives.
The more I checked her Facebook status, Instagram updates, Youtube videos, websites…, the more insecure I felt.
Until I took a deep breath and ask myself one question:
“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞?”
The answer came instantly:
"She is putting herself out there in a big way to serve the world".
When I got clear about my heart’s desire, I could begin to work on it. Now I feel inspired when I think of her achievement.
So if you’re feeling envious towards some one, ask yourself the same question. Uncover your desire and do the work it takes to fulfil it.

Bad Digestion, a four-song EP from Taiwanese hip-hop innovator/songwriter Leo Wang, is a snapshot of life in Taiwan -- or anywhere, for that matter -- in 2021.
Let's start with a familiar everyday scene: you're sitting at a table, chopsticks in one hand, phone in the other. You're shoveling down food with one hand, swiping through emotion and drama with the other.
All this grease and gripe, day in, day out, will eventually get to you. This idea inspired the reggae-driven title track, on which Leo sings: "It's emotion, it's hunger, it's fate, all pulling on me / All these mundane things in the world -- I just want to break free."
Time for a digestif, then. The Taiwanese don't agree on everything, but they agree a meal is always good with white rice, or "Baifun." This cut is Leo's ode to Taiwan's great uniter, and his backing band feeds us a generous serving, dripping with funk.
When the world's hard to swallow, one can medicate, but one can also meditate, as Leo does on the last two songs. The space jazz-rock-infused "Experienced That" reminds us of our cosmic selves, as we are constantly pushed and pulled between positive and negative forces. "Mirror" closes the EP with a morsel of common wisdom worth remembering: when we look at other people, what we actually see is a reflection of ourselves.

Taylor Swift《love story》小提琴版本 | Violin cover by Lin Tzu An of Love Story by Taylor Swift

Bet lots of you fell in love with Taylor Swift because of this song. It's a big hit then.
The melody itself is impressive saying that you are my prince and I am your princess.
It's literally the romantic love song that every girl would dream to meet their Mr. Rights and the song just rewrote the ending of Romeo and Juliet with a happily ever after one.
After 10 years, I cover the song with my violin through the gentle expression, which seems to give the song another layers of emotion from a more mature perspective.
But anyways, I have experienced sooooo many things these years. When looking back, I was apparently not the boy and hardly can I see the world with the naive eyes.
It’s not a bad thing to get old tho. After all, we can face those ups and downs in the life with calmness in mind so let's celebrate getting older together =]

.
This’s Our Daily Life (Btw, the clips were taken few years ago, and Yobi ain’t able to climb up the staircase since last year). Meanwhile we go out everyday, I have to repeat thousands of times : “It ain’t about NO PHOTO, but Please Ask Before U Snap”. Especially when doggies they pee/poo, when am cleaning after, when am carrying tons of pops. Try to imagine, what if the same shit is happening to yourself, how U feel?! U may have ur own perception/choice, but can I have mine?!
.
People did study “May I?!”, “Would U mind?!” at school, but how come I stop U taking a photo and then I became impossible?! When I stop people taking a photo, try to explain why, and they may probably feel bad or offensive, but actually did people care how I feel the first place?! Am truly calm and patience when I stop and explain to the first one or second one, but when I talk to the tenth, the twentieth, I feel very very annoyed and pissed off..... Am not a robot, I have my emotion too. This ain’t sorts freedom or human rights, but courtesy and respect!
.
Many people say they feel a lot the warmness and friendliness of the people when visiting TaiWan and Japan, but where is ours then?! I don’t know since when, people do communicate on social media’s, but they won’t talk to people face to face and became mute and deaf, for how long we didn’t care people around?!
.
I never mind to share the happiness of the pack with people, am just expecting more and more people shall get engaged positively! They 5 are having photos with numerous people everyday, a reward to those people whom did ask for one politely!
