With the words of Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil (#JsemTchajwanec/#WoShiTaiwanRen) still resounding in our ears, MOFA would like to thank the 106 European parliamentarians and politicians from seven countries, including the #VisegrádGroup (the #CzechRepublic, #Poland, #Slovakia and #Hungary) #Latvia, #Lithuania and #Estonia, who signed letters to WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus supporting Taiwan's participation in the WHO in the run-up to the resumption of 73rd World Health Assembly from November 9-14!
The success of the #TaiwanModel of #PandemicPrevention should be shared with countries around the world through the WHO meetings and mechanisms as #DiseaseKnowsNoBorders and we need to put #HealthBeforePolitics if we're to #BeatTheVirus!
