1980s.. the golden era of Singapore. DIAM DIAM OR KAOPEH
Even though I have watched Director @jackneock previous 2 movies, 我们的故事, but the latest series #TheDiamDiamEra touched my heart the most.
Maybe because I'm born in the 80s and the show happens to show that the 4 kids have grown up and how they faced challenges when Singapore goes through a number of key political changes.
Not even 30mins to the show, I already started tearing, obviously thinking about my own 4 kids while watching the show. #CryAndLaughAlot
The political changes may not be affecting me much since I'm a child but to me, it's the memories of sng bao (ice pop sticks), hopscotch, zero point, xin yao and teacher throwing chalk duster or chalks at misbehaving classmates.
