(translated dizzy or in a daze)… probablyyy? my favorite song off the EP 😆 there’s no elaborate inspirational story behind this song, more just a feeling to describe the conversations between the woman you are on the outside and your best friend on the inside. When we talk about love it can be damn confusing, can be simple or complicated, there is right and wrong, there is a want to stay or a need to let go… (kind of like this game.. you’re all over the place, but you know where you need to go, you know your target 🙃) In the end, what if they’re all just emotions and in this confusion or dazed state you are in fact very clear … and that is you and I have loved ❤️💔 stream the full track if ya like!

This post goes out to a very special person in my life. Someone I had the privilege of meeting for the very time a decade ago. I was looking to hire the first staff for my brand SF by Sazzy Falak and my good friend @surayasharifuddin helped interview a few candidates. I trusted Sue’s judgement very much and when she said she had a good feeling about this young girl, I believed her and hired that young girl right away. Fast forward 10 years later, not only is she a big part of my life but all of my children’s too. When she started working with me, my daughters were less than a year old. She worked with me at building my brand and at the same time played babysitter with the girls since babyhood. She left SF years later to venture into other things but we always kept in touch. We’d meet up for coffee, celebrate birthdays, sent silly memes and videos to each other, go out makan etc
.
This year, she joined our @womentum.life taskforce and once again we’re in each other’s faces 🤣 I believe (as @sarimahibrahim said) that everyone needs a Jaja in their life. Not only does she give joy and love, but she also provides calmness and stability. Don’t be fooled by her sweetness though. This woman is a go getter and she’ll go for what she wants a 100%!

I don’t know if I’ve ever said it enough but I love you like a sister and I am so so so thankful to call you a friend. If anyone tries so much to mess with you, you can bet I’ll come flying with kick 😆 And it won’t be only me, my three kids and even @nash_idrus will come flying with punches ready!

#1 Lentil Meatloaf
90 g (1/2 cup) cooked brown lentils
1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
1/4 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 (~50 g) carrot, peeled and chopped
30 g (1/4 cup) chopped walnuts
90 g (1/2 cup) quinoa, soaked (use cooked quinoa would produce more soft texture)
1.5 Tablespoons liquid amino or tamari/soy sauce (https://iherb.co/2fWjbD55)
1.5 Tablespoons tomato puree (tomato paste)
1.5 Tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoons pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
(I grind some celery seeds and salt together, you can also use celery salt - https://iherb.co/ynv54sPP)
→ Bake at 175 C / 350 F for 10 minutes first then spread some BBQ sauce. Return to bake for another 25-30 minutes.
PS. I use the recipe in my e-book. You can use a store-bought one or ketchup. Just make sure it's vegan. Here is a vegan BBQ sauce I recommend - https://iherb.co/AGaiCS2h

#2 Rosemary Roasted Pumpkin
1/4 pumpkin ~100 g pumpkin kin (or whatever you want to make)
A few drizzles of olive oil
2 tsp dried rosemary
salt & pepper
→ Bake at 175 C / 350 F for 25-30 minutes.
