…and this is Fatimah O. Mukhlis - my beloved niece. We waited 7yrs before Fatimah made her debut into this world. And it’s really worth the wait! She’s a miracle from Allah to our family. MashaAllah!
-
Just imagine how the parents feel when knowing that they’d be blessed with another child after those helpless years of waiting! No words could ever describe their feelings when that one thing they’ve ever wanted was finally happening!
-
FATIMAH is the name my sister and her husband chose for their daughter, taking after the name of the beloved daughter of Rasulullah SAW, Fatimah RAA. She’s an example of her father’s morals and characters. On top of all, Fatimah RAA loved and cared for her father so much!
-
My sister and her husband were hoping that the name would have good effect to their one and only daughter. We call her by her full name, FATIMAH and we disapprove any other nicknames that people are calling her.
-
Name is like an adornment for every human being, by which we’re called in this world and in the Hereafter. The Prophet SAW said, “On the day of Qiyamah, you will be called by your own names and the names of your fathers. Therefore keep good names,” (Abu Dawud).
-
It’s absolutely forbidden to call someone by a name he/she hates. It’s not allowed in Islam! Sadly, many of us take it lightly.
-
In the Quran, Allah SWT has made it clear, “…and do not insult one another and do not call each other by (offensive) nicknames,” (Al-Hujurat, 49:11).
-
Let’s get to a point where people say, “But I like to call him/her like that, it’s funny!” or they argue, “I’m so used to my dialect, it’s hard to change!”
-
O mankind, none of us are given other choices but to respect each other. That’s the teaching of our Prophet SAW.
-
So please beware of this little thing that we do in our daily life. For whatever reasons, if we’re calling people with the name that they disapprove or dislike, then we’re committing sins!
-
Let’s call each other with respect and avoid insulting people by calling them with unwanted names simply because it’s funny or because of the dialect.
-
Bear in mind that indeed, such action is clearly prohibited in the Quran & Hadith.

THE KING & I - PART 3️⃣ of 3
.
•PLEASE KINDLY READ & SHARE•
.
Finding out that he did all of these wonderful things made me adore him even more. I soon found out that His Majesty was going to be coronated as Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia (the King of Malaysia) and that made me look up to him even more! I was motivated and started to regain my confidence in speaking Malay. If the King of Malaysia can speak in Kelantanese dialect, then why can’t I? Thank you for inspiring me, Your Majesty, a boy in a foreign land! You are one in a million! So let His Majesty be an example to all of us! Be gratified of who you are, never be ashamed of your roots and your dialect but always remember to remain humble so that Together We Can Change The World! NOW I CAN SAY THAT MY NAME IS OMAR MUKHTAR BIN OMAR MUKHLIS AND I AM A PROUD KELANTANESE FROM MALAYSIA! 🇲🇾

This week, 2 incredible things happened.
I went on my first Cantonese radio interview. I am aware that my command in the dialect is not great, and I was initially afraid of embarrassing myself; but how can I say, "Be brave and explore infinite possibilities," if I don't live by it? So here I am, telling you, I did it and it feels amazing to overcome your fears.
And speaking of infinite possibilities, this week I was one of the first few in Malaysia to experience the Samsung Galaxy S8! Yes me, #GilaJenn! The Infinity Design is mind-bendingly beautiful, #iCantWait for you to see it for yourself.
Amazing things happen when you say yes and fearlessly do it. I am a living example. 😘 Have an amazing weekend!

Hi. My name is themblan, and I am a boy-gamer.
Today, we are deviating away from Nintendo-games and featuring one of my favorite games from my teenage years, and that is Final Fantasy Tactics for Sony PlayStation.
It was developed by Squaresoft before they merged with Enix, released in Japan in 1997, and published in North America in 1998 by Sony Computer Entertainment America, which also published Final Fantasy VII in the same region.
I was looking for a handy-dandy video on YouTube that featured all the attract-mode videos of this game, but to no avail. Attract-mode, for anyone that might not know, is essentially the stuff that happens when you leave a game on the title-screen and don't do anything. These days, most games don't do anything even if you leave the game on the title-screen, but back in the day, games might play special videos or play through some of the game by itself, to "attract" you to come pick up the controller and play the game. This was very useful if, for example, a retail store had the game running on a TV in the store. Potential customers would be "attracted" to buy the game by what they saw during the "attract-mode."
This video of mine features the opening cinematic, as well as the backstory-cinematic, a trailer advertising the game and featuring some credits, and the Job/Monster cinematic which goes through a bevy of Jobs and Monsters you will encounter in the game.
Back in the day, I really enjoyed watching these videos. Full-motion video clips, in general, was something that I enjoyed watching during the era of the first PlayStation, especially if they were designed and edited well, as they were in this game.
I still feel this original PlayStation-version of the game is the best, because the PSP-port called War of the Lions has issues with sound and slowdown. I had hoped its translation would make the game easier to understand, but instead, they chose to use a weird, old-English-like dialect that is even more difficult to understand than the original script.
This original version of the game is certainly a game I would love to see on the Switch. There have been many games in the same genre that have come out after Final Fantasy Tactics, like Disgaea, but Final Fantasy Tactics is still my favorite, and if I try games like Disgaea, I just end up feeling disappointed, and end up just replaying Final Fantasy Tactics instead.

Thank you for watching, and have a great day.
