Live Free from the Curse
“Yahweh says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh. For he shall be like a bush in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:5-8 WEB)
When you trust in your arm of flesh, you are unable to receive God’s grace in your circumstances. You make Christ of no effect to you when you operate by the flesh instead of by the Spirit.
The cursed way is to be like Adam after the fall, cursed to eat bread by the sweat of his brow. The ground would sprout forth thorns and thistles, hindering the fruitfulness of what is sown.
Hard labor by the flesh and not by the anointing is the cursed way. “Nothing is going to happen if I don’t do it myself, so I will handle it on my own.” That is the mindset of one who trusts in his arm of flesh.
What is the difference between the “bush in the desert” and the “tree planted by the waters”? The answer is: the presence of water.
The cursed man does not care to receive and meditate on the water of God’s word, so he does not have the hope from God’s promises.
On the other hand, the blessed man is planted by the waters, constantly receiving and meditating on God’s word. He has strong faith and hope in God’s promises, and experiences fruitfulness, health, youth renewal, and provision.
“The farmer sows the word. The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them. These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy. They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble. Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word, and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”” (Mark 4:14-20 WEB)
Why do you think the devil puts in so much effort to snatch the seed of God’s word from your heart? He deceives, distracts, intimidates, and tempts, all so that he can convince you to give up on God’s word.
It is because a person who allows God’s word to grow in his heart is the biggest threat to the demonic kingdom. A person who prays, loves, and preaches the Gospel destroys Satanic strongholds, yokes, and bondages, setting captives free.
Such a person’s life flourishes through God’s word, and enjoys hundredfold harvests of God’s blessing.
If the enemy can steer you away from receiving God’s word, he can keep you living in defeat. Let us see through his evil strategies and do the exact opposite: every day, receive the Gospel and hear about the gift of righteousness and the abundance of grace available to you through our Lord Jesus Christ. Saturate your mind and heart with the Gospel. This is one way you can silence the serpent in your life!
“Silencing the Serpent” is my ebook about spiritual warfare and how Christians can emerge victorious in it. You will discover the mighty spiritual weapons you have in Christ, and learn about the enemy’s strategies as well as how to counter them with Biblical truths. Expect long-time addictions, bondages, and patterns of defeat to be broken when you meditate on the truths in this book: https://bit.ly/silence-the-serpent-now

He Who Does Good is of God?
“I wrote to the assembly, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, doesn’t accept what we say. Therefore if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not content with this, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and those who would, he forbids and throws out of the assembly. Beloved, don’t imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn’t seen God. Demetrius has the testimony of all, and of the truth itself; yes, we also testify, and you know that our testimony is true.” (3 John 1:9-12 WEB)
In the apostle John’s letter to Gaius and the church, he told them that a person who does good is of God, while one who does evil has not seen God.
Is this teaching good works as a proof of salvation?
Well, if we read in the context of the passage, John was referring to Diotrephes who was hindering Christians in particular. Diotrephes rejected the apostles’ authority, slandered them, and he cast out from the church whoever showed support or hospitality to the missionaries that were sent by the apostles. Diotrephes enjoyed the glory of being “first among them” as a leader but he was not interested in the truth of the Gospel.
John was calling the authenticity of Diotrephes’ faith into question, doubting that the man was saved.
It is apparent that Diotrephes “has not seen God”—he did not have a personal revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, and did not love Christians because he was likely not a true one. He just wanted to be a leader over a group of people, to enjoy the thrill of calling the shots and feeling a vain sense of importance.
When John talked about “he who does good is of God”, we see the context clearly that John meant doing good to Christians, acting according to God’s will and ways.
When an unbeliever does something good like giving to charity through his pagan temple or speaking encouraging words to cheer up a depressed friend, that is not the kind of “good” that John is referring to. If that were so, then every unbeliever who regularly does something good could be called “of God”.
No, the one who does good by believing and proclaiming the Spirit-inspired words of the apostles (the New Testament is mostly written by the apostles), who welcomes and loves fellow Christian brethren, demonstrates that he is a true believer. Not just any general acts of good, but love towards God (Yahweh) and fellow Christians who the apostle Paul calls “the household of the faith”.
“So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians 6:10 WEB)
In a subsequent chapter in the same letter, John wrote something that clearly shows that he meant doing good in the sense of doing good (showing love) to fellow Christians:
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love...If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.” (1 John 4:7-8, 20-21 WEB)
Firstly, John addressed the audience as “beloved”, showing us that he was speaking to Christians, not just all people in general. God’s will is for Christians to have brotherly love for one another, to treat each other as family, even though we may not be biologically related by blood, but we are of the same family in the Holy Spirit.
John then proceeded to explain how to recognize a false believer: a person who uses the mouth to claim that he loves God, but with his actions shows that he hates Christians and even persecutes them. Such a person is obviously just lying and is not really born-again.
In contrast to Diotrephes, John commends Demetrius for being a true Christian who walks in the truth of the Gospel. He has this testimony from the apostles and from the church. May we be like Demetrius, whose faith can be clearly seen, such that the way we live brings glory to God!

I have to say, hammer in mhp3 is like easy mode for some reason. Having stamina system is really hindering the monsters in the portable version as they are made in mind that there will be solo play. (hence a bit weaker than console version??? That's how I feel)

ok, I overestimate him or should I say the def upgrade system is overly powerful...
I only stray off 1 quest to collect materials for perception gem, so I thought the defense would be on just in par and not overpowering Jinouga...
Second time seeing him but first timing trying to atk and learning his moves.
One thing I hate the most, his stupid 360 tail spin into tail slam move. That tail spin always gets me when I'm within range...

"Here comes the Groom" side mission
I shouldn't have hold onto the rocket launcher, as its hindering my jump overs...
Key to defeating Randy:
Use your trustworthy "Defiler"! ;D
Jump back and forth the wooden fence for a breather.
Randy does the stupid humping taunt after he hits you. This is a great chance for some atks to land on him. He was stupid enough to do that constantly for a bit until my health was low.
Jump back over to the other side and way until Randy charges at you then you jump over to the other side to recover your health. Best make some mix drinks as those recover a lot of health bars.
After that its pretty much bait him to atk you once so that he does the stupid taunt for you have atk opportunity.
Although this fight may vary very differently from people to people, the main aspect of this is to abuse the wooden fence jump overs.
