=================================
1) Attentive(気配りができる)
=================================
<例文>
We should leave a big tip. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.
All of the participants at the seminar were attentive and took notes.
To be a good communicator, you must be an attentive listener.
=================================
2) The name of the game(最も重要なこと)
=================================
<例文>
You have to engage with your audience on social media. That’s the name of the game.
It’s not what you know but who you know. That’s the name of the game in business.
You have to make as many shots as you can in ten seconds. That’s the name of the game.
=================================
3) Check in on someone(確認する)
=================================
Are you OK?」
<例文>
I should check in on my grandma and see how she’s doing.
I’m going to check in on Hiro and see if he’s getting better.
How’s everything going? It’s been a while since we talked. Just checking up on you.
=================================
4) Call someone over(人を呼び寄せる)
=================================
<例文>
Let’s call the server over and get the check.
What do you think Steve is up to right now? Let’s call him over.

=================================
5) Left alone(独りでいる)
=================================
例えば、そっとしておいて欲しい時や干渉されたくない時に「I just want to be left alone.」
<例文>
Sometimes I just want to be left alone.
That poor dog was left alone in the car for hours.

how to be a good listener 在 Pandelela Rinong Facebook 的最佳解答
These 3 women are always by my side for the longest time and have left a great impact in my life. When women support other women, incredible things happen and we became “Wonderwoman”👸🏻 in whatever we are doing.
Now let me tell you how they've influenced me to be a better woman.
💃🏻 One is artsy and so good with social skills which never seems to run out of topics to talk about, and I’m more of a listener (but I think I still give the best advices 😝)
👩🏻⚕ Another is a brainiac with chemistry that seems to charm people around her without even trying hard. Can you share some of that with me? 🤩
🦸♀ Next, she is someone who I traveled the most with for training and competitions 🧳 The ever demanding and strenuous job seems less lonely and tiring with a good teammate.
Who’s the woman who have influenced you to be better? Tag her! 👇🏽

Five Ways to Improve Your Listening Skills
Maintain eye contact
It shows others that you are paying attention.
Match their eye contact to not be creepy.
Some people love eye contact. Others prefer to look away from time to time. Depends on the other party
Another way to show that you are listening is to lean in with your ear
Take Notes
This will reinforce your memory. It’s advisable to ask permission first in some situations.
This is good for when you meet someone more successful than you.
Ask: Do you mind if I take notes?
Shows respect and makes them feel valued.
Allow people to finish their own sentences
No matter how enthusiastically you want to jump into the conversation.
Doing so will indicate respect for what the person is saying.
Let them finish their sentence and then ask. Would you like my feedback?
Is what you have to say more important to the person speaking?
Respond so the other person knows you’re listening.
Your response maybe “Yes” or “I see” or merely nodding your head. Any of these will do.
I see where you are coming from
That is profound
I wish I could do what you do
Ask core questions.
That is typically a series of “why” questions that go deeper into a particular subject to gain the greatest understanding of a situation. Start with broad information and continue seeking more specific responses.
Ask core questions – So you don’t get a yes or no answer
Why is that important? How can I help?
What’s preventing you from moving forward?
Asking them profound questions. Questions shift belief/change lives.
These may seem simple but complexity is the enemy of execution. If you think these sound like common sense, first ask yourself “How many people do you know that do all this? How would it transform your life if you did?” If you do it, you will stand out. People will like you but they won’t know why. It’s subconscious.
