This is how it started.. 1995 winning the first award at @modamalaysia Young Designers Competition which did encouraged me to continue my goal to become a Fashion Designer. It was a changing point of my life. Got a scholarship to further my studies in Montreal, Canada.
Then I came back from Canada and started my own company with just RM3000 in year 2000.
Looking back does help me to remind myself that no matter how difficult if you have a will you have a way! Never give up!

9 years ago today, I started my new journey here. It was a big decision to move to San Francisco and pursue a dream that I never thought about. 6 months before my departure, my sister asked what do I want to do for my future, I have no answer. She reminded me that when I was a kid I love to DIY, so why not doing something which is design-related? With no art/design background, I crossed the Pacific ocean and get enrolled in an art school. I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me and help me to grow to become a UX designer which I never ever thought of. But yes, I am here and yes, I found my passion which was never revealed until my clever sister who saw it from my heart. I can't say how much love to my parents who believe in me all the time and giving me all the loves. And I am so proud to present myself that never say never, and find your passion for life. And don't forget to thanks any one in your life, without them, there is no you

Hello everyone. I am Kimura U, the pinkest creator in the universe.
Today I will make hair accessory made of UV resin.
I will make hair accessory using real snacks.
Let’s try.
Voila! Using this clear file, I will create the sheet to make the resin.
Make sure it will fit in this curing unit. When using the resin, everything will be done on this sheet.
Under this space we will put masking tape.
By putting this masking tape, the resin will not spill over.
Apply it so some of the tape will stick out. This will make it easy for you to take the tape off at the end.
Let’s start adding resin.
The first step is making the bottom layer of resin. Don’t put too much in.
Once the resin poured in, use this hair pin to smash the bubbles.
If you don’t take care of each bubbles, the bubbles will remain when the resin becomes solid.
Now the curing unit.
Swtich on.
2 minutes now.
It’s rock solid.
Now let’s put the cute part into each places.
Even paper stickers will become solid when you use resin.
This is a real sugar candy, but with resin, this will become solid as well.
Once you make it solid, it will last for years.
I like pastel colors so I’m going to put in pastel colored stars.
Again, we add some resin.
To make it shiny, let’s add some glitter.
Again, into the curing unit.
Start! Wait 2minutes.
Voila.
It’s solid.
From here, we add more layers and more resin.
cute.
Voila.
Set the timer and On!
I left it for 4minutes so let’s take it out now.
Voila.
Adding some more glitter.
UV resin should not be added all at once but added few times to make many layers.
Voila.
Here is how it looks.
Let’s take off the masking tape.
Here we go.
whoops.
Oh no..
For people who doesn’t like this, add resin to the back.
This will cover the remaining tape.
Add glitter here.
Done!
A cute piece is made. To make it into an accessory, let’s put a pin.
Use a glue gun and a triangular pin.
Here we have a dreamy hair accessory which matches with pastel colors.
I often use frames in gold, but since I’m the pinkest creator in the universe, I looked all over to find this pink ceramic frame not necessarily for resin.
Not only to make a normal resin accessory, the key was to add edible real sugar candy in pastel color.

We will make the hair into braids.
A substitute for hair band….these beads.
By clasping the braids, it will become a clip.
Each side will be made into three braids.
First, just take a bunch, divide it into three, and make each into braids.
The braids can be a little loose.

Choose your favorite to clip on.
Just like this.
I will continue to do the rest.
I have the other parts in a clean cut so I don’t have much volume, but if the more braids you can make, the cuter it will get.
I would like to pin my bangs.
For the pin, the small ones are easier to use.
The biggest one is this size.
The reason behind is that, when the hair comes off due to the weight, or as you can see, the reverse side is like this, but when there are many parts to clip on, the round shape of the bangs will disappear and it will not look cute.
Therefore choose one size. The color can be of your choice, but if so many are pink or blue, when all of the hair pins are on, the part would look bulky and destroy the balance of the color. It would be better when you spread it out and use many colors evenly.
On the top part, this type which has a curling pin on the reverse side,
is what we will use.
For the bottom part, this easy to clip-on type will keep on and will not fall off.
Based on such thoughts, I decide how much to keep or buy.
From the top, hold the bottom of this hair and clip it as if letting it go through.
Use this as much as possible, the numbers are up to you, and much as you want.
The easiest to use is probably the ribbon type.
When you use the star, the bangs may split like this, so you should hide the split with your hair a little.
Even with the same motif, there are ones with different colors, shiny ones, made in different colors, etc., so find the balance you like and use what you think will look cute.
The upper part is the curling pin.
For the lower part, I will use a tic tac.
Look at the balance of colors and choose your own color.
The key to today’s fashion coordination is the dress.
This dress is from my brand, 90884 and it has a sticker pattern on it. This pattern comes from my childhood obsession of collecting stickers, and the desire to wear them.
It isl using enamel to make a material mix, so it is given some futuristic impression.
Matching with the style, I am wearing a rainbow socks today.
As the image is “cheerful”, for the bottoms, I am wearing balloon pants.
