Late last year, I reached out to Income OrangeAid to explore ways we could work together. OrangeAid is a community development programme that empowers youths-in-need through education. They support tertiary students from low-income families through bursaries, financial literacy workshops, and character development training.
What started out as conversation over coffee has culminated into a full-fledged Alumni Coaching Programme. The programme was launched on 21 April 2018, and I was given the honour of being the programme’s first official coach for its #FutureSpeak Seminar Series!
During the launch, I spoke with tertiary students about how I started my career using social media and shared some thoughts on digital advertising. We also had lively discussions on the importance of personal branding and the exciting possibilities ahead for social media careers.
