Open Window Cafe Bistro, Model Colony
On the 5th floor of Ambassador hotel at Model Colony is this roof top magical cafe. Every corner of the cafe is so beautifully done. The string of lights, the colorful furniture, the graffiti walls, every element out there is just fantastic. As soon as you step out of the elevator you are taken into a fairy land. There is an instant transformation into a blissful world. There are beautiful birds cages, random quotes on the wall, well crafted lanterns hanging. The lights and the furniture are so unique and so simple with a rustic finish. Like there are two three cycle wheels decorated with fairy lights and made use a chandelier or you could say lanterns. With light music soothing to your soul and cool breeze hitting your face with a view of the city from one end its just a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The food also has variety. From Italian to American it has a good number of options to choose from.
I had cheese garlic bread, masala cheese fries and cold coffee. The cold coffee was just perfect with flavours blended superbly. The cheese garlic bread was delicious too and the cheese was different than the regular one and was yumm. I wasn't very happy with the masla cheese fries as it has less of cheese and more of tomato onion pieces.
The prices are also reasonable. It's a great blend of good ambience quality food and value for money.
However, the ambience takes away all the brownie points.
I would definitely recommend this place to go relax and enjoy the cool breeze and some delicious finger food. It's thoroughly blissful.
