Finally giving the KFC rice cooker rice a go, and I gotta say it’s pretty good - especially for a simple recipe. Cooked it all in our new Mistral Mimica Digital Rice Cooker (MRC16C). The interface is nice and sleek, and there are 9 cooking functions. Best part? It looks so cute and is very compact despite being able to cook up to 3 cups of rice.
Rice is definitely a staple in our household, and we usually have 2 people at home so having a small rice cooker like this one helps saves a ton of space.
If you are looking to recreate the KFC rice, here’s all u need to do - add your washed rice, chicken stock, light soy sauce, and the KFC original recipe chicken (we used 2 pieces, and i asked for thigh/wing pieces) into the rice cooker. Cook till rice is done, remove chicken and debone, then add shredded meat back into the rice and mix in. Finish with salt (if needed) and pepper to taste. SUPER easy and delicious
