Last Sunday was my birthday. I turned 31.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my body, I feel like 26 years old. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But in my soul, I feel a thousand-year-old. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm one of those "old soul" people who start asking annoying questions like "Why are we here?" too early.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes, I wonder if I'm too deep for my own good. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, a growth edge has been to find a balance: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- to allow myself to explore the bigger questions on meaning and purpose, and our human existence, AND⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- to not take things too seriously and just relax, just enjoy the simple things life has to offer, basking in its beauty from one moment to the next. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here, a ladybug in my garden. Here, the long eyelash of my baby girl. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maybe true bliss can come from doing this dance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
