This Friday, October 16th is World Food Day !!! While TFC !!! is usually about #turntup food, we wanted to bring light to something really important in the world around us. The #thatfoodcray crew loves food and a lot of us are fortunate to eat when our tummy growls. But there are over 850 million people out there that are going hungry as you read this. In some cities like Hong Kong, over 3,500 tons of food are going to waste everyday. Solving the problem is simple. It could be ordering less when dining out or packing up leftovers with reusable containers and plastic wrap like Glad -- ensuring food stays fresher, longer.
That Food Cray !!! want to highlight Glad’s mission to rid the world of food wastage with their #GladToShare campaign to protect the environment, save your hard-earned cash money and eradicate food wastage.
