#TBT to June 11 when our Taipei office celebrated Pride Month. More than 30 Taiwanese students and experienced professionals who self-identify as LGBTQ+ joined.

The event started with a game of Kahoot! to celebrate Pride and then Tanya and Jerry -- members of GLAM, our LGBTQ+ network -- shared their McKinsey journeys. The event ended with an ask-me-anything discussion hosted by GLAMmies and Allies from the Taipei office.

Our first-ever GLAM Asia Summit took place in Taipei in late October with LGBTQ+ colleagues and formal allies from several countries in the region participating. This inaugural event in Asia coincided with the Taiwan Pride parade, the first since same-sex marriage was legalized in the country in May. Taiwan has long hosted Pride marches, but this year our GLAM community was on the ground.
