The market positions of TV products are as follows, ranked from premium to entry-level :
1.Micro LED
2.QD-OLED/OLED
3.“Upgraded” LCD (such as with Mini LED backlighting)
4.LCD
#OLED, made by #LG_Display, and #QD_OLED, which is projected to enter mass production by #Samsung_Display in 2021, share the problem of having only a single supplier.
In comparison, despite high costs and poor yield as of now, #Micro_LED TV technology sees active development from panel, #LED, and other display industry-related companies.
In addition to Samsung, LGD (the second largest TV brand globally) will naturally participate in the development of this technology as well.
